Above her head, Shen Li's Soul Talisman was nearly complete.
As she drew the final stroke, the talisman burst forth with a dazzling, eerie glow atop the Golden Toad's head and then instantly vanished into its skull.
Seeing this scene, Shen Li's face lit up with a hint of a smile, and she looked up at Shen Wen'an:
"Third Uncle, it's a success!"
Upon hearing this, Shen Wen'an still looked at the Golden Toad warily.
He was afraid that this creature might cunningly deceive Shen Li through some trick and harm her once his guard was down.
"Don't worry, Third Uncle, I've subdued him,"
Shen Li said, smiling as she spoke.
Then she slightly shifted her mind and gave the Golden Toad a command.
The Golden Toad suddenly extended its tongue and gently licked the red Dragon-Slaying Sword before it.
"See, he's very obedient."
Shen Li said with a smile.
Shen Wen'an hesitantly sheathed his sword.
