The man on the other end of the phone had a mid-range voice that clearly indicated he was much older than Sienna Thornton. Sienna quickly changed her tone: "Yes, this is she. May I ask who is calling?"
The person replied: "I am Director-General Linton from the Treaty and Law Department of the Ministry of Commerce. Do you have time to meet?"
In just a few seconds, Sienna remembered three years ago when this Director-General Linton frequently invited her to work for the Treaty and Law Department at the Ministry of Commerce. The last time they met was a year and a half ago when she submitted information to the Ministry on behalf of The Forresters, which was heavily taxed in the United States.
Every time Director-General Linton contacted her, it was to recruit her for the Treaty and Law Department. Could it be the same this time?
