After all, he had caused so much trouble, and very few of those things could make people feel happy or cheerful.
Only the Five Elders could feel pleased about what they gained.
And his negative emotion points were no small deal. When he drew Aatrox before, he had nearly cleared them out to zero right away.
Now he had over four million again, which just showed how much of a villain he really was.
But this time, Genichi wasn't aiming to draw characters for negative emotion points. Instead, he was going for another big draw on the item side, at the million level.
The reason was simple. He collected negative emotion points quickly, so he might even reach ten million someday.
But positive emotion points grew too slowly, and once they hit the million mark, they faced restrictions that made growth even slower.
For him, it was better to spend them once they reached a million, so he could quickly build back up to that level again.
So he went straight for the draw!
"Hextech Innovation: High-End Shopping—from the Teamfight Tactics world. Your draw level will go up by one."
(Note: Raising the level by one doesn't mean turning a hundred thousand level draw into a million level one, or a million into ten million. It means a hundred thousand level becomes two hundred thousand level. The boost isn't enough to jump to the next tier.)
Genichi's eyes widened. This item's description was very straightforward, and it wasn't even a physical item.
But this draw really hit the spot for him, making him smile from ear to ear.
It was way better than any item or character!
High-End Shopping wasn't like the Superpower Training Kit or Monster Cells that directly boosted strength. It amplified his drawing power!
It didn't swap million-level characters for ten-million-level ones, but it was still incredibly valuable.
This meant the characters or items he drew would generally be stronger and more useful than before.
In other words, cards he drew at every level would be better than his previous infinity-level ones, though how much better wasn't clear yet.
The cap for ten-million-level character cards stayed the same, still at this world's power limit.
Of course, that limit could shift, since the higher this world's ceiling got, the higher his ten-million bracket cap would rise too.
Drawing High-End Shopping at this point was like getting the perfect item for him.
And this item draw was a real mixed bag—stuff from every world imaginable, even Hextech tech from a chess-like game like Teamfight Tactics.
Would something abstract like a wish from Shenron show up someday?
Genichi's mind wandered to that thought, and it wasn't impossible at all, since High-End Shopping wasn't a strict item anyway.
He was starting to appreciate positive emotion points more and more. Negative ones gave him direct power and character clones, sure, but the items from positive points were often more magical and had longer-lasting effects!
Plus, same-level item draws were way stronger than character draws...
He had only planned to do one item draw to burn a million positive points, but now with High-End Shopping, he wanted to try a character draw to test the upgrade.
No time like the present—he jumped into a million-level character draw. His negative points were piling up fast anyway.
"Kuchiki Byakuya: From the Bleach world. Captain of Squad 6 in the Gotei 13, head of one of the five noble families. His Zanpakuto is Senbonzakura. After his wife's death, he swore to become the ideal for all Soul Reapers and protect their ways."
In Genichi's view appeared Byakuya Kuchiki's cold, distant face.
From the description, this was the Byakuya from the Soul Society arc—strong, sure, but nowhere near the guy from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc later on.
Yeah, if it was the blood war version, he couldn't have drawn him at the million level, even with the High-End Shopping boost.
He felt pretty excited inside, though. This card was a great pull, and the upgrade's effect was already showing.
He just wondered if he could draw High-End Shopping again. Ten of them, and million-level would jump straight to ten-million.
After some thought, Genichi started planning what to do with Byakuya Kuchiki.
Someone like Byakuya not being a noble would be a total waste.
And for nobility...
Celestial Dragons?
That wasn't a bad idea, really. With all the items he had coming up, one that made Byakuya a Celestial Dragon was totally possible.
But right now, Genichi was still pretty broke.
He only had a little over four hundred thousand positive points left. Even with High-End Shopping...
It was still smarter to wait until he hit a million again before using them.
Thinking that, he went ahead and brought Byakuya Kuchiki into reality.
From the Bleach world, Byakuya was top-tier in looks—no doubt the handsomest in this world. In the One Piece world, where most faces were rough and plain, just walking around could charm thousands of girls. Too bad, despite his killer looks, he planned to get ahead on strength.
Among all of Genichi's character cards so far, Byakuya was the best-looking by far!
Not just handsome—he had to be a fighter too!
Even as a million-level card, Byakuya's potential was high. But Genichi had no plans to give him something like Monster Cells—that would ruin his looks and feel disrespectful.
Genichi thought about it, finding it a bit odd.
The manifested Byakuya was a spirit, but one that others could see, adapted to the One Piece world's rules.
In Bleach, Soul Reapers could be touched by normal people but not seen by them, so Byakuya blended in fine with most of this world—nothing special.
In One Piece, ghosts like Perona could be seen but not touched by normals.
In Bleach, Soul Reapers could be touched but not seen by normals.
Merging those rules turned the current Byakuya into a normal person.
But he still had his spirit nature, meaning he could live for a few thousand years!
All in all, Byakuya was strong. Now Genichi wanted to make him even stronger before sending him out.
In the meantime, it would be great if he could draw some useful items.
