When the sunlight streamed in the next day, Mia Sutton was still lying in bed, eyes closed.
Her black hair was splayed freely, forming a sharp contrast against the white sheets.
When Jensen Sterling walked out of the bathroom, he saw the girl wrapped in the blanket, sleeping soundly. He chuckled softly, lifted his long legs, walked to the bedside, and propped an arm on the bed, leaning down to brush Mia's messy hair to one side.
He called to the girl softly, "Mia..."
Mia didn't open her eyes at all; a single arm stretched out from under the blanket, flailing aimlessly twice, and she grumbled in dissatisfaction, "Don't bother me... sleepy~"
Jensen watched her and let out a soft laugh from his throat, leaning down to kiss her forehead, "Go back to sleep."
As he straightened back up, he tucked the blanket around her, then wrote something on a sticky note and stuck it on the bedside table, before quietly opening the door and leaving.
