"Will there be any buyers for so many?"
Ding Haiying listened to Ah Chen's idea and was indeed somewhat intrigued, but then she thought about who she could sell all these chickens, ducks, and livestock to in the future, and her enthusiasm waned. She was confident that the livestock she raised was good; after all, whenever people in the vicinity needed piglets or chicks, they placed their orders with her. During festivals, the chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits she brought to the town were quickly sold out.
There were also duck eggs, chicken eggs, and goose eggs that villagers often came to buy from her.
However, these numbers were not large.
If she were to really start a factory, the scale and cost would increase significantly. If she couldn't sell them, they would still need feeding every day – wouldn't that be a burden?
But Ah Chen's idea lingered in her mind, and once some things take root in your heart, they're hard to dismiss.
