Back when Fu Yu was in culinary school, he was completely like a frog at the bottom of a well, unable to see the big picture.
Because he was attractive, sociable, and studied diligently, he was well-liked by the teachers.
In class, no matter what he learned, he picked it up quickly and did it well.
However, once he started his internship at Qianlima, he couldn't do anything right, even cutting vegetables was different from what was taught at school. Whether it was speed or the shape and method of cutting ingredients, the differences were drastic.
Later, when he was learning to cook with Zhao Meng, Fu Yu was often left dazed and frustrated by the process of cooking seafood soup.
