The sudden attentiveness from Aunt Shen startled Su Qing, but it was clear that the big boss simply can't do the job of serving others.
While the hot water foot soak and shoulder massage seemed for his benefit, that wasn't truly the case. The water was scorching, the massage was pointless, and most importantly, the takeout ordered was her own favorite food.
You could say that, aside from his feet getting scalded red, he didn't enjoy a thing. Thankfully, she was kind enough not to use boiling water.
The next day, Su Qing woke naturally, and his long-missed independent living returned.
He got up leisurely around ten in the morning, ordered himself some takeout, unsure if it was breakfast or lunch, and after filling up, he got back to work as usual.
The only downside of his job was that there were no days off. Although he seemed leisurely every day, there was still work to be done daily. After all, updates couldn't stop. No one cared if it was the weekend; no work means no income.
