In that state everyone in the village walking behind them in complete silent watching John looking down at his burned toys… he freezes.
Someone pulls his shirt:" Uh…sir you can have mine…" As John looks around, a young boy looking up to John with his scared expression, and his eyes were red.
John bends his knee "Hey big boy, what did you say?" the boy repeats his words but more scared and no one can blame him for that, he has just saw John killing the executioner in brutal way and heard his speech as well as his mom's whispers and villagers about John and his family.
John pats the boy's head:" It's okay young man. I am your friend and friends don't hurt each other RIGHT!" said John happily, "Uh. Yes sir!" cheered the boy.
" No, my name is John, you can call me that my friend." And he looks dead deep into the older villager's eyes," UNLIKE THEM!" looks back to the boy "so come on mate what about you young man how should we address you?".
"OH, MY NAME IS LEO!" says the boy with full energy." oh my that's really strong name doesn't you think?" kindly replies to John. "YES, IT IS, MY …. MOM USED TO SAY THAT IT MEANS I HAVE LEGANDRY FUTURE WAITING FOR ME!!". John holds a second "… YOUR MOM MUST BE PROUD OF YOU! YOUNG MAN LEO "answered John matching the boy's energy. "YESS, I HOPE SO" replied Leo.
John stands up:" SOO LEO FROM NOW ON IS MY FRIEND AND PART OF MY FAMILY! ANYONE DISAGREE?!" no one dared to move an inch. "THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT"
"Now you wanted me to take your toy Leo? No, no you should keep it, it's for you, what do you say after we finish fixing my home, we make some new toys for us?" added John to Leo with big warm smile. "THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS DO WITH EACH OTHER RIGHT?! THEN YEAH, I WILL HELP YOU TOO JOHN!"
After that warm conversation John pulls Leo to his side and look towards his broken house and started picking up his things from the ground and putting them near the river, "Hey, mom, should we put our stuff close to the river or what?"." Yeah, we need to reorganize so grab everything you can and put it close to the river so we will filter them out those who survived we clean with water and try to quick fix and those that didn't survive we will just throw them to the river.". "YES MA'AM!" says Everyone loud, taking John the doctor and Lina in shock.
While they start approaching and get going to help them out, the doctor goes to one of the elder and ask" What do you guys' think are doing?". "Well, we treated them like shit before, this is our first step to ask for their forgiveness." answered the old lady.
The doctor was impressed by her answer and got back to what he was doing…
-------4 hours later-------
"OKAY! Everything is done now where is Leo?" asked John and one of the villagers answered, "he went back to his home."
John started walking around the village looking for Leo… after few minutes of looking he hear someone cry and say "I made it mom… I have friends now and …family…I miss…you, I wish you were here to see my new friends, he is the new leader everyone fear him, but he likes me, and I like him too!..... rest in piece mom".
Hearing that John falls on the ground using the wall as his support, he is broken clutching his chest and mouth with tears falling down like a rain…it was Leo who was talking to his dead mother…and John knew it was him which crashed him even more.
Leo goes out of his home and saw John in that state, "John, are you okay my friend? Does your stomach hurts? My mom used to say that empty stomach can bring hurricanes you got to eat before it gets pissed off" right after he finishes his word John grab him in instant and hugs him tightly and whisper "you can cry now Leo you are no longer alone…"those words hit Leo like a lighting rendering him break out crying and screaming "WHY! WHY! WHY MEE!! WHY MOM HAD TO LEAVE ME!! WHY ME! NO! NO! NO! I MISS HER I WANT HER!! I WANT MY MOTHERRRR!!!" while Leo crashing out John was hugging him tight and holding him with tears falling "I know…I know it's not your fault… nor your mom's… yes cry scream hit me if it help… a kid like you shouldn't leave in tragedy…"as Leo starts to calm down John added "from now on you live with your big brother" with sarcastic smile "ME, HEY I AM YOUR BIG BROTHER" in funny tone, then he says" well I am a dumb big brother are you able to handle his dumbness??" Leo giggle with laughter "FOR SURE BIG BROTHER I WILL COVER YOUR ASS WHEN YOU MESS UP!" and they fist bump each other, "am hella hungry dude let's go home to eat we are done cleaning "says John," yeah me-too DUDE" replies Leo."Hey you are mocking your big brother or what?!" in dramatic tone, Leo smirks and giggle "maybe who knows hahaha!".
When they reach their house John look for Alina and find her sitting on her favorite sport watching the river and walks up to her holding Leo's hand. "MAAHHAA!!" John surprises Alina, "OH MY GOD JOHN YOU DUMBASS!" says Alina then she added" What do you want now?"," hmm yeah Leo is my young brother from now on okay mom?" she looks at John surprised then give a side eye to Leo "hmm he looks fine, do you want to be part of our family young boy?" she asks," Yes ma'am!" Leo answered. "IT'S MOM from now on Leo, make yourself home." John looks down to Leo and child with a childish smile and eyes sparkling with joy and throw a signal a small uppercut cheering Leo." PFF you never grow John" jokingly says Alina.
