Chapter 165 - Guessing the Result

He reached out and patted Gian's shoulder, trying to pull him back.

If Suneo were here to see this scene, he'd definitely be stunned by Nobita's actions.

When did the always-timid Nobita become so brave? He dared to directly grab at Gian. Wasn't he asking for trouble?

Even Shizuka was worried for Nobita.

Because Gian could be really scary when he lost his temper, even though he usually held back a bit around the girls.

But if you angered him, the consequences wouldn't be pretty.

Nobita was clearly starting to cross Gian's line.

"Nobita, Gian must have a reason for doing this. Don't be so hasty."

Just as Gian was about to punch Nobita to help him face reality, Lin Feng's voice suddenly came from outside the shop.

This familiar voice also made Gian's fist-swinging motion pause slightly.

"Lin Feng?"

"And Shizuka?"

"Why are you here?"

Nobita, hearing Lin Feng's voice, immediately turned his head towards the door.

"I was a little worried, so I asked Lin Feng to come with me to take a look. Nobita, I think Lin Feng is right. We should first listen to why Gian doesn't want to participate in the training with us," Shizuka said, looking worriedly at the tense atmosphere between Gian and Nobita.

"It won't do any good even if all of you come over. I already said it, I'm busy right now, you should all just go back."

Gian really hadn't expected Lin Feng and Shizuka to come over.

But even so, his previous statement remained unchanged.

"Gian, why are you still saying that? Everyone is clearly so…!"

"Alright, Nobita, just hold back a bit."

Seeing Nobita getting ready to start speaking those motivational words to Gian with his youthful, hot-blooded attitude, Lin Feng stepped forward directly and stopped Nobita's pointless behavior.

Although Nobita, after eating the Hot-Blooded Bun, was indeed fired up like he was on drugs.

But if Gian really had some hidden difficulties, then Nobita's actions would only backfire.

If he got beaten up later, it would be his own fault.

"But…"

Nobita, unwilling to give up, wanted to say something, but Shizuka stopped him.

"Nobita, let Lin Feng handle this. Maybe he has a better solution."

Shizuka smiled slightly at Nobita and said.

After hearing what Shizuka said, Nobita had no choice but to leave the task of persuading Gian to Lin Feng.

"Lin Feng, even if it's you, if you want to persuade me to participate in those boring trainings, I think you should give up early. Because I really have my own things to do during this time."

Seeing Lin Feng walk into the shop, Gian's temper had calmed down a bit, but he was still refusing the matter of going to training that Nobita had mentioned earlier.

"It's okay, Gian, don't get so worked up. We'll talk about the training later. Let's go see how your Mother is doing first."

Lin Feng gently patted Gian on the shoulder, signaling for him to calm down. He wasn't here to force him into group training.

Then, he began walking towards the inner room, speaking as he went.

Gian's house appeared quite often in the original story, so even though Lin Feng had never been there before, he was still pretty familiar with the layout.

"How... how did you know about my Mother's injury...?"

"Did Jaiko tell you?"

"Damn it... Didn't I tell her not to tell anyone...?"

Seeing that Lin Feng seemed to know everything, a look of surprise and shock appeared on Gian's face.

Logically, the only people who should know about this are myself and my sister, Jaiko.

I definitely haven't mentioned it to anyone. That's why I'm guessing Lin Feng knows because of Jaiko.

Although Gian usually dotes on his sister, he would still be somewhat annoyed if she revealed something he didn't want others to know.

"Not at all."

"Jaiko did tell me that she couldn't come to learn how to draw manga these past few days because of something at home, but she didn't tell me exactly what it was."

Lin Feng turned around in the hallway and smiled slightly at Gian.

"Then why...?"

"Because of the smell."

"The smell...?"

"Yeah, I smelled the aroma of medicinal broth coming from your house. And yesterday, when I was heading back, I just happened to run into Jaiko coming out of the pharmacy on the street. She was even holding freshly prescribed medicine."

"Since neither of you are injured, and Jaiko isn't either, the purpose of you guys boiling medicine at home is pretty obvious, right?"

Lin Feng smiled as he explained his guess to Gian.

"Brother, the medicine is ready. Should we take it to Mom now...?"

"Master, why are you here? And Nobita and Shizuka, why are you all here...?"

Just then, Jaiko came out from the inner room, carrying a bowl of freshly boiled, steaming medicinal broth, and walked to the corridor inside the house.

She saw Nobita and Shizuka following Lin Feng and Gian into the house, and was a little surprised as she greeted them.

"Well, we just happened to be passing by to see Gian's Mother."

Lin Feng smiled slightly and said to Jaiko.

"Thank you."

"My brother is really something. He asked me not to say anything before, but then he went and said it himself."

After hearing Lin Feng's words, Jaiko first expressed her gratitude for their visit.

Then, leading the way, she muttered softly.

Although Jaiko's muttering wasn't loud, the corridor was only so big, so it was naturally all heard by Gian, who was following behind.

At this moment, the expression on Gian's face also became somewhat complicated.

This matter… really wasn't something he told anyone!

But there was no need to explain to Jaiko now. Since Lin Feng and the others already knew about it, continuing to hide it would only make Gian seem like he, a man, lacked the courage to take responsibility.

Meanwhile, Shizuka and Nobita, who were following behind, exchanged glances.

They weren't fools. After listening to the conversation between Gian, Lin Feng, and Jaiko, they also realized what was currently happening.
