Tyler and Rowen seemed to understand the plan and the consequences of making even the slightest mistake.

Rowen punched the ground beneath his feet, and the massive vibration woke the earth-manipulating beast. Still, before it could process what was happening, the earth beneath him sprouted into a pillar that shot it against gravity.
Jayden clenched his teeth. Things were going just as anticipated but for how long?
He leaned closer, watching closely for when to give Tyler his signal.
And then his lips parted as the beast reached its maximum height, ready to fall under gravity.

"Now, Tyler," Jayden signalled as the beast's limbs all spread apart.
