Kairen hurried toward Samui's tent impatiently. Chika possessed only a mortal body and couldn't withstand him many times.

Kairen smiled faintly. "What do you think?"
Samui sighed.
She had known it would be like this. The Akatsuki might leave, but new wolves would inevitably set their sights on it.
Kairen gently pulled Samui into his arms and said affectionately,
"Don't worry. I won't treat you badly. After the Akatsuki are driven out, I'll hand over the related affairs of the Land of Lightning to you."
"Really?" Samui asked with surprise.
"Of course. But there's no need to rebuild Kumogakure anymore. The era of ninja villages has passed. The world will be unified under one rule. I don't want to see alliances of ninja villages again."
Samui fell silent. She and Mabui had stayed behind precisely because they believed in rebuilding Kumogakure.
Kairen gently kissed Samui on the forehead.
"Stop worrying about it. The affairs of the world are decided by men. From now on, just give birth to my children."
The great army marched eastward. The banner fluttered fiercely in the wind as troops trampled across the snow, crossing the borders of the Land of Lightning and heading straight toward Kumogakure.
On the distant snowy highlands behind them, a young woman waved her hand, bidding farewell to her beloved.
Atop the bone dragon, Samui shot Kairen a vicious glance and scolded,
"Such a pure and innocent girl treated you with sincere devotion, and you still deceived her. You're truly a heartless scoundrel."
Kairen was picking fleas off Fenchu when he heard Samui's words and immediately felt dissatisfied.

Samui sneered. "Then bring the moon down for me right now!"
Kairen was a man who followed through on his words. He immediately stood up, preparing to head for the moon.
Seeing he wasn't joking, Samui quickly stopped him.
"Wait! There's nowhere on Earth to place the moon."
Kairen stopped, thumping his chest boldly. "Everyone knows that I possess a pure and sincere heart."
Unlike Chika, Samui wasn't easily fooled. She had completely seen through Kairen's character.
No matter how stubbornly he insisted, she wouldn't believe him.
She gazed at the clear blue sky, then glanced at the man squeezing closer beside her.
Kairen smiled ingratiatingly. "Um… could you introduce Mabui to me?"
Samui didn't know what emotion she felt. She knew Kairen was shameless, but she hadn't expected him to be so shameless that he wouldn't even bother pretending.
He had just been with her and already wanted another woman. Even beasts weren't this outrageous.
"Hey! Why aren't you saying anything?"
"Go die!"
Mabui rushed forward, baring her teeth and claws.
