Chapter 139 - Chapter 139: Am I Lucky Today?

"How wonderful"

Inside Orochimaru's laboratory, Orochimaru quietly observed Kairen's cells through a microscope, full of awe.

Kairen's cells brimmed with vitality. Each individual cell's density was over ten times that of a normal human's, and the energy contained within was dozens of times greater.

Such cells had already surpassed Hashirama's cells. If Kairen perfected his Wood Release further, his cellular structure would evolve into something even higher.

Suddenly, Kairen's cells began to fade away.

Orochimaru's eyes widened in disbelief — without warning, his experimental sample simply vanished!

He glanced around sharply.

"Who?! Who's there?!"

In the next instant, Orochimaru's consciousness linked to a white snake he had left within the Senju residence.

"You bastard! Talk! Are you gonna talk?! Say it! Say it!"

One shadow clone lashed a hanging white snake with a whip, while another clone roasted it with a lighter.

The clone holding the lighter suddenly froze and pointed at the white snake spy.

"Uh... it seems like it can't talk."

"Eh..."

"Idiots!" Orochimaru's face twisted with fury. There were limits even to cruelty — why humiliate his snake like this?!

...

After Kairen's death, the Infinite Resurrection System offered him three options.

Option 1: Revive on the spot.

Option 2: Revive within Host Body No. 1 — Fenchu.

Option 3: Revive within Host Body No. 2 — Wolon.

Kairen chose the second option.

Under the gaze of his shadow clones, the cursed mark on Fenchu's neck began to glow fiery red.

A surge of energy rippled through the air, and Kairen's head slowly emerged from Fenchu's neck — his entire body regenerating as he was reborn.

"Mm~"

Fenchu saw Kairen and leaned against his shoulder, the large bear-like girl clinging onto his back.

Fenchu rode on Kairen's back, commanding the storms of destiny.

Kairen's physique was powerful and sturdy, allowing Fenchu to wiggle and shift comfortably on his back.

He then glanced toward Wolon, whose bear form was also transforming — turning into a plump bear about a meter tall, rolling around the floor like an Akimichi clan's Human Bullet Tank.

Kairen smiled.

"Looks like the resurrection seal works perfectly. Six thousand experience points well spent."

All the shadow clones chimed in,

"Boss is a genius!"

After five minutes, the seals on Wolon and Fenchu faded, returning them to their original forms.

Doctor Snake jotted down the data, then nodded.

"They lack the main body's system filter for negative emotions. After five minutes, they exceed their emotional threshold and must rest to recover. Only then can the resurrection seals be used again."

Kairen smiled.

"Five minutes is already long enough. Ninja battles are fast — five minutes can decide everything."

Throughout history, countless heroes have fallen within five minutes!

Kairen then began discussing with Shan and Cloud Kairen about how to tarnish Konoha's upper council's reputation and build Tsunade's public image.

The general plan: stir up public opinion throughout the village, exposing the leadership's tolerance toward rogue clans and their neglect of civilians.

Sitting at the table, Kairen pointed toward Shan.

"I'll assign you a Wood Release shadow clone. Take a pile of money and buy out a shop — set it up as a newspaper office."

"Then find two or three clones as editors. Work them to the bone until the propaganda destroys Konoha's image."

"Understood, Kairen-sama!"

He then turned to Cloud Kairen.

"Mobilize the army. Make Konoha's public opinion burn."

"Izayakas, restaurants, schools, hospitals — even the laundry spots where old ladies gossip — don't spare any of them. Spread the word and shatter the Third Hokage's fatherly image overnight."

"Understood!"

Kairen stood up, gazing toward the massive Hokage Rock.

As long as I desire it, the entire Konoha will drown under my propaganda assault.

"Multi Shadow Clone Technique!"

Kairen unleashed a massive surge of chakra, forming hand seals. In an instant, a thousand shadow clones appeared throughout the Senju compound.

Among them, Wood Release clones stood out. Shan led one of them along with fifty "foot soldiers," hauling a crate of cash to establish Kairen's newspaper office.

Cloud Kairen took the rest, each performing Transformation Jutsu before dispersing across Konoha.

Canon adjusted his collar, standing tall and proud as he stepped out of the Senju residence.

He was about to fulfill his most crucial mission — to explore the deepest darkness of the world.

Kairen sat cross-legged alone, pondering the true principles of this world.

...

So many people had come and gone while he sat in silence.

No, I need to move faster!

Wolon and Fenchu clung to his robes from behind. Smart Kairen walked up, took out a Master Ball, and sealed the two little fat bears inside.

Now that the two bears carried seals, they could use techniques — he planned to train them properly.

"Ding!"

"[Shadow Clone has successfully recorded firearm: Heavy Machine Gun!]"

Kairen looked to the far-left side of the training field, where one of his clones — Gunner Kairen — was pulling the trigger wildly.

"Da-da-da-da!"

Bullets shredded a wooden humanoid target to splinters as the clone laughed madly,"Hahaha! This is art!"

Kairen nodded in approval — his firepower was indeed increasing.

Doctor Snake approached, a report in hand.

"Main body, I've made a discovery about Wood Release!"

"Speak."

"Most ninjutsu are energy-based attacks. Even Earth and Water Release constructs fade after a short while. But Wood Release is special — it truly manifests physically. I found that Wood Release shadow clones carry not only Earth and Water nature transformations but also the Yang Release nature."

Kairen nodded. That much he already knew — Asura's reincarnation embodied Yang Release. Every ninjutsu he used had traces of it.

Kairen's eyes lit up.

"You're saying materialization… requires Yang Release reaction?"

Doctor Snake nodded.

"Yes. When you create food with chakra, it eventually dissipates. But if you infuse enough Yang Release, it can become truly tangible."

Yang Release governs life — the power that grants form vitality. In the original story, Six Paths Naruto even used it to create an eye for Kakashi.

Kairen listened and suddenly recalled how Wolon and Fenchu had recently been craving bamboo.

He'd used Hundred Transformations to conjure two bamboo shoots for them, but since they were mere chakra constructs, they couldn't actually fill their stomachs.

The two panda bears had been so hungry they planned to poop on his bed while he slept — just to threaten their "caretaker."

Even the clone-manufactured heavy weapon bullets — if infused with Yang Release, he could mass-produce real ammunition!

Kairen waved his hand.

"Got it. Let me test that right now."

He formed hand seals, chakra surging through his palms. A bright green bamboo shoot appeared in his hands — not Wood Release, but a chakra materialization from Hundred Transformations.

Wolon and Fenchu saw the large bamboo shoot and rolled over happily.

"Mm~"

Kairen tossed each of them one bamboo shoot, and the little bears gnawed on them joyfully.

He observed closely — with Yang Release infused, the chakra-formed bamboo had truly solidified, just like Wood Release constructs.

"Ding!"

"[Detected host's Hundred Transformations infused with Yang Release — Forbidden Technique Hundred Transformations upgraded!]"

Kairen grinned and snapped his fingers. Instantly, a pack of cigarettes appeared in his hand.

He pulled one out, and a shadow clone dutifully stepped forward to light it for him.

Kairen exhaled a puff of smoke, trembling slightly.

"Ah... that's the taste — the taste of home."

He flicked the ash from the cigarette, tossed the pack to a nearby clone, and walked toward the Four Pillars residence.

All his clones were busy with their own tasks.

As the main body, he couldn't just stand idle — it was time to inject the curse seal into Tsunade and implant his cells into her body.
