Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: Danzo’s Complete Death

Kairen stood silently, his Byakugan seeing no one daring to storm the execution grounds. He immediately realized that the old scoundrel had used the technique of Izanagi.

Izanagi—an ultimate ocular jutsu capable of reversing the tide of battle. For a brief moment, it allows the user to turn all unfavorable conditions, including injury and death, into nothing more than a dream.

In other words, under the effect of Izanagi, the caster cannot be killed.

When Danzo was placed once more on the execution block, he bit off his tongue to regain consciousness and activated Izanagi at the cost of one of his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

Kairen's eyes widened—Danzo's figure had vanished. He scanned the area; all his shadow clones had surrounded the place. Danzo had nowhere to run.

That could only mean one thing—he had transformed into one of Kairen's shadow clones to hide among them.

The clones quickly caught on. Canon and one of the clones exchanged a coded call:

"Heaven!"

"Pagoda!"

"Alright, you're not the spy. Next!"

Danzo smirked to himself.

I heard the code, fools.

He approached Canon, mimicking Kairen's usual smug expression.

Canon looked at him and said, "One Cloud!"

"..."

Danzo froze.

Wait, why did the code change?!

That one moment of hesitation was enough—Canon's fist smashed into his face, shattering his Transformation Jutsu and revealing his true form.

Canon sneered. "Idiot. Our codes change constantly. Without the cipher book, you could never keep up."

"You—" Danzo's eyes flared with recognition. It was that black-eyed Kairen—the one who had once peed on his face.

"Chop him up!"

A group of shadow clones summoned axes and charged at Danzo.

Danzo fought back desperately. His arm was still gone, and even with Izanagi's reversal, his chakra reserves were nearly depleted.

"Move aside—let me handle this!"

A clone wearing blue leaped into the air.

Both arms bent, he shouted midair, "Crow takes flight!"

He slammed down with full force, knocking Danzo flat onto the ground.

The surrounding clones immediately recognized the move.

Everyone stepped back to watch Kairen bully the old man.

"Behold my Doflamingo Dance!"

...

"I'm joining too!"

Another clone, now wearing a white lab coat, charged into the fray against Danzo.

"Watch my—Cut! Perm! Style!"

Danzo, drained of chakra, struggled helplessly under the assault of two self-proclaimed kung fu masters.

"Behold!"

"One whip! Two whips! Three! Four!"

Danzo staggered backward, utterly disheveled.

A clone jumped out and shouted, "Stop! Don't hit him anymore!"

Ma Kairen drew back his hand and exhaled deeply.

"The martial world values peace above all. I'll stop here today."

"Die!"

Danzo whipped out his final shuriken and hurled it.

Ma Kairen was struck dead on the spot—but even as he exploded, he roared,

"Old bastard! You've got no martial honor!"

Kairen waved his hand, signaling all clones to stand down.

He looked at the trembling Danzo, who could barely remain standing, and sighed.

"Old man... it's time I sent you off."

"Huff… huff… huff…"

Danzo gasped heavily as Kairen slowly approached, terror flooding his heart.

He couldn't die—not yet. He was destined to be Hokage. His ambitions were far from complete.

He would have his face carved onto the Hokage Rock. He would lead Konoha to rule over the entire ninja world...

With a sharp snap, Danzo dropped to his knees.

"Kairen, don't kill me! I—I'm kneeling to you!"

The people nearby watched in silence, their hearts filled with indescribable emotion.

That man who worshipped darkness... the underground ruler of the village... was now kneeling before Kairen—just to survive.

That shadow clone who'd mocked him earlier was right. Danzo was a coward who hid his weakness behind darkness.

"Click! Click! Click!"

Shan whipped out a camera, circling Danzo and snapping photos nonstop, recording every bit of his disgrace.

Kairen flashed a peace sign at the camera, then turned to Danzo.

"Call me 'Dad,' and I'll let you go."

"Papa! Papa! Papa, don't kill me!"

Danzo shouted without a trace of shame.

"Eh..."

"Eh..."

All the clones around them responded in unison—and then burst into laughter.

"Hahaha!"

Kairen chuckled, then shook his head.

"Today... I must uphold justice, even against my own kin!"

He entered the system space. There had been only 1000 experience points left in the Infinite Resurrection System, but with the battle damage bonus, the total had now reached about 3000.

Inside the system interface, he opened the exchange catalog and located a Wood Release ninjutsu.

[Wood Release: Thorn Binding Technique!]

Originally, it cost over 9000 points, but since Kairen already possessed Wood Release, he only needed 600. He tapped the exchange button, and instantly the technique was his.

"Ding!"

[Wood Release: Thorn Binding Technique successfully redeemed!]

The technique's method of use flowed through his mind. It wasn't particularly advanced—its purpose was to create wooden vines that restrained the enemy, preventing escape.

Kairen mastered it at once, adding his own creative variations.

He could've killed Danzo with countless jutsu, yet he chose Wood Release—for reasons far too intricate to explain.

Within a heartbeat, Kairen returned to reality. His eyes reflected a trace of weariness from having played too long—then were replaced by a vibrant green glow.

He began forming hand seals.

Tiger... Snake... Monkey... Boar...

With his level of chakra control, Kairen could easily perform jutsu without seals—but he deliberately slowed down, forming one seal per second, as if to make sure everyone around could see clearly.

The reason? Complex. But simply put—showing off.

Yes. Kairen wanted everyone to see. Because if he didn't show off, he wouldn't be Kairen.

Danzo's eyes went wide. Greedy for Wood Release as he was, he instantly recognized one of the seals—it was among the most common Wood Release signs.

"You... you, you—"

At the Hokage Building, Sarutobi Hiruzen shot to his feet.

"That's a Wood Release seal!!"

Thousands of miles underground, Uchiha Madara rose abruptly.

"Hashirama!!"

On top of Katsuyu, Tsunade's beautiful eyes widened as she gazed at Kairen—and for a moment, she saw a man clad in red armor standing behind him.

"You kid... you actually awakened Wood Release!"

Kairen completed the seals for Thorn Binding Technique. Water and earth chakra merged with a trace of yang nature.

"Crack, crack!"

Raising his palm, several brown wooden tendrils burst from his hand, twisting and rushing toward Danzo, wrapping him up in the blink of an eye.

Danzo was bound tightly, the crushing pressure intensifying with each passing second.

He stared at Kairen in disbelief. "Wood Release... Wood Release... you actually possess Wood Release..."

The power of the First Hokage's Wood Release—Root was still secretly researching it. Among them, Yamato was hidden deep, waiting for the right time to act against Konoha.

Kairen ignored Danzo's rambling. He clenched his right hand.

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

The pressure grew. Danzo screamed in agony, his features twisting as blood trickled from his eyes, nose, and mouth.

"This... this is retribution... retribution! From the Senju... from the First Hokage... from Tobirama-sensei..."

Danzo muttered incoherently.

Kairen twisted his hand once more. Danzo's body contorted violently—then went limp. His eyes closed. He was dead at last.

Kairen controlled the wooden vines as they writhed and reshaped themselves into a coffin.

"Send Danzo on his final journey."

Turning around, Kairen pulled the garment from his waist and draped it over his shoulders. That faint, proud aura still surrounded him.
