Master Jins looked at everyone one by one.
A deep silence filled the chamber. Everyone's faces appeared calm, yet within them, an ocean of thoughts was surging. Each of them was trapped in the same dilemma, what should they do next? If King Omas refused to speak the language of war openly, then would they have to be the ones to initiate it?
After a few moments, Liora broke the silence.
"We should move our entire army to Inferna City. From there, both Mehan Mountain and the Chintamani Empire are close. No matter how King Omas responds, our army will be able to advance quickly in any direction from there."
As soon as she finished speaking, faint smiles of satisfaction appeared on everyone's faces.
It seemed that everyone considered it to be the most suitable plan.
Lith Yakshini immediately expressed her agreement without the slightest hesitation. Her expressions clearly revealed just how eager she was for this war. The revenge that had remained buried within her for years now seemed to be surging forth as a new source of strength.
On the other hand, Luna's mind was occupied by an entirely different concern.
The responsibility of arranging food, water, medicine, and every other essential supply for such a massive army would fall upon her shoulders. She had already begun calculating all those preparations in her mind.
Master Jins looked at everyone and finally nodded in agreement. The decision had been made. At that very moment, Lily and Snehwal's eyes met.
Within their eyes reflected countless memories of the days they had spent together. Along with those memories was the reassurance that they were no longer alone. They now had companions who were willing to stand beside them until their very last breath.
Even so... The worry in Lily's heart had not disappeared.
She understood very well that confronting enemies like Humbha Yakshini and King Omas was not an ordinary decision, but an extremely dangerous one.
However... there was no other choice left before them anymore.
Lily stepped forward, picked up the pen resting on the table, and began writing on the sheet of paper. A few moments later, she finished the letter and handed it to Master Jins.
As soon as he read it, a faint smile appeared on Master Jins's face.
The letter had been written exactly according to the plan they had discussed.
Now, Master Jins had only one responsibility before him ~ to deliver that letter to King Omas and, for the very first time, truly shake the foundation of his hollow authority.
Even so... Fear still lingered somewhere deep within his heart.
Until now, no one had ever dared to openly oppose King Omas. But every reign was destined to come to an end. With the passage of time, every person, every object, every power, and even every idea undergoes change. Rise and fall, growth and decline, are the unchanging laws of nature.
Nothing can remain the same forever.
Holding the letter in his hands, Master Jins said,
"We should complete all of our preparations now."
Liora and Lith immediately nodded in agreement.
It was clear that the greatest responsibility for organizing and commanding the army rested upon the shoulders of the two sisters.
Meanwhile, Snehwal and Lily also had extremely formidable enemies standing before them.
A few moments later, Master Jins slowly walked out of the chamber.
Snehwal and Lily followed behind him.
Perhaps they, too, wished to take one more look at their city... the very city for which they might soon have to risk everything.
Watching Snehwal leave, Liora remained standing there for a few moments.
The faint moisture hidden in her eyes was not an act ~ it was proof of her deep concern.
Her hand instinctively lifted slightly, as though she wanted to stop him.
But in the very next moment, she stopped herself, gently shook her head, and calmed her own heart.
She knew... this was not the right time to speak the feelings within her heart.
Inside the chamber, Luna, Liora, and Lith Yakshini once again fixed their eyes upon the map and immersed themselves in the preparations for the days ahead.
The afternoon sun had climbed high into the sky.
Meanwhile, Master Jins had already departed for the Chintamani Empire.
At the same time, Lily and Snehwal were strolling through the streets of Kankal City. They looked at the large merchants' shops lined up on both sides of the road.
Whenever the people caught sight of the two of them, they respectfully lowered their heads and eagerly displayed their goods before them.
Yet, seeing all of this, Snehwal's heart sank into deep thought.
He wondered... who knew what decision King Omas would make?
Because if war broke out, these very smiling faces, this lively atmosphere, and these prosperous marketplaces would, in the blink of an eye, be swallowed by disorder and darkness.
And such an outcome would not be right from any point of view.
But now... whether war would begin or be avoided, the thread of that decision rested in the hands of only one person ~ King Omas.
