"Ahahahahaha. Without me, you mongrels really cannot do anything properly!" Gilgamesh said arrogantly from the Vimana.
Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash were already used to Gilgamesh's attitude. More important than his attitude was his arrival. Since Gilgamesh had bound Heracles with Enkidu: Chains of Heaven, the King of Heroes standing at the summit of Servants was unquestionably their ally.
"Yeah. We are counting on you, King Gilgamesh."
"Hmph." Gilgamesh snorted coldly, but a trace of pleasure could still be heard in his tone.
Then his expression turned cold again. He looked down at Heracles, who was bound by Enkidu: Chains of Heaven.
"A Servant without reason is no different from a beast. Entertain me as much as you can, mongrel!"
Two enormous golden ripples appeared on either side of the Vimana. From within them emerged a golden greatsword and a massive axe. Compared to ordinary weapons, these two were immense. Even Heracles barely reached half their height.
"Roar!" Heracles roared furiously at Gilgamesh. But no matter how great his strength was, the divinity in his body kept him from breaking free of Enkidu: Chains of Heaven.
"Too loud, mongrel!" Gilgamesh said. He tapped a golden armrest with one finger, and the two weapons shot forward. Everyone saw two golden flashes, then a violent explosion followed.
Hassan of the Cursed Arm and the others, who had already moved far away from Heracles, watched the firelight of the blast. He said to Musashi, "That is a terrifying attack. I feel that even one of those would kill me outright."
Musashi nodded in agreement, though her eyes still carried an eager glint.
"Roar!"
Heracles's roar scattered the smoke around him, revealing a body that had lost more than half its mass. Even with that kind of wound, he still had not died. He only needed a few seconds to recover completely. During those few seconds, while his body was damaged, he somehow broke free from Enkidu: Chains of Heaven and completed his recovery in midair.
Heracles sprinted across the ground and picked up the axe sword that had been blasted away earlier. He reached the Vimana's rear flank almost immediately. Then he leapt with all his strength and rose even higher than the Vimana. In midair, he aimed at Gilgamesh and hacked down with everything he had.
But things did not go as he wished. While he was still in the air, the airtight net of Enkidu: Chains of Heaven surrounded and bound him again.
Gilgamesh did not even raise his head this time. His irritated voice sounded from the throne.
"Hmph. Mongrel. Who gave you permission to look down on me?"
Boom.
Heracles's nearly bisected body crashed to the ground. This time, the moment he started to repair himself, Gilgamesh's attack descended again. Every weapon was released with the clear intent of killing him completely.
Behind a waist high stone in the distance, Angra was secretly watching the battlefield.
"Master, seriously. This is what you call a little trouble? This is huge trouble, all right... But if he still sent me here, then I probably will not make it back this time." Angra muttered absentmindedly while chewing on the stick of a lollipop he had already finished.
Then Angra's gaze swept over everyone.
"The guy up there has divinity, so I may not be able to kill him. The six people below include two Masters, and Master told me not to touch the Masters. Of the other four Servants, that woman feels fragile, but to be safe, the black one is the right target.
"Judging by the fight just now, that one is an Assassin with instant death capability. Compared to the others, his potential threat is greater. And Master said it is better to cut off one finger than injure all ten. Killing one Assassin and removing the team's rear guard should be worth it."
On the battlefield, after Gilgamesh's storm of bombardment, the ground in that area had been shaved down by half a meter. Heracles's body was gone without a trace. In other words, he had turned into spirit particles and returned to the Throne of Heroes.
At that moment, Gilgamesh sensed an extremely obvious gaze. Looking toward it, he saw a Servant covered in black markings standing on an earthen mound and flipping him a universal rude gesture. Gilgamesh had received modern knowledge during summoning, so of course he knew what it meant. Because he knew, his anger grew sharper.
"Mongrel, mongrel, mongrel. These days, any mongrel dares crawl out and bark!" Gilgamesh roared in fury. Two enormous weapons locked onto Angra. His action drew Fujimaru Ritsuka's attention. Following the direction of the weapons, Fujimaru Ritsuka saw Angra standing there.
Recognizing Angra, Fujimaru Ritsuka tried to warn him. "Wait, Gilga..."
But Gilgamesh could no longer hear anything. Without hesitation, he fired the two weapons.
Looking at the massive weapons rushing toward him, Angra's expression was calm. Death was something he had long since grown used to. The only pity was that the candy in his mouth was finished. The only blessing was also that the candy in his mouth was finished.
With the sound of a huge explosion, Hassan of the Cursed Arm's upper body suddenly burst apart. The force almost destroyed half of his body.
"Cursed Arm!" Fujimaru Ritsuka cried out. He was about to raise his hand and use a Command Spell, but then he saw Hassan of the Cursed Arm shake his head slightly.
"Using a precious Command Spell on me is not worth it. I can feel my Spirit Core has shattered. My only regret is that I did not truly help you, Master..."
Hassan of the Cursed Arm disappeared. This time, he did not merely dematerialize. He truly became spirit particles and returned to the Throne of Heroes.
On the Vimana, Gilgamesh glanced aside. "A damage reflection Noble Phantasm? Hmph. Nothing but petty tricks."
Suddenly, Gilgamesh turned his head. Two missiles were flying straight at him. Impatience flashed in his eyes.
"A pest that buzzes like a fly."
Two enormous weapons rose to meet them.
At the same time, in another corner of the land, Medea floated in the air. The one slowly vanishing before her was her teacher, Circe.
"I am sorry, Teacher. I have already seen another horizon. My Magecraft is no longer limited to this world."
Circe parted her lips as if she still wanted to say something. In the end, even as she fully vanished, she said nothing.
Hassan of the Hundred Personas appeared beside Medea.
"Heracles and Angra Mainyu are dead. The one who killed them was the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh."
Medea thought for a moment. "It is fine. Even if all of us fail, it does not matter. Everything remains within Master's expectations."
