"Because Grave has decided to meet you. When Grave decides to meet a soul, he does not do so lightly. His decision tells me he has already concluded that you are relevant to questions he has been considering for a very long time."
Elenora paused briefly before continuing.
"Those questions are the very reason you came here, Bruce Ackerman. Grave has been pursuing answers for three centuries. If you meet with him, he will share more with you than I ever could. He may also ask more of you than I ever would."
Bruce remained silent for a moment, considering her words.
"You believe he could be an ally in the deeper work."
"I believe he is the only soul in Xiltra, and perhaps in the entire Soul Realm, who has pursued those questions for as long as he has. He has yet to find the answers, but he has reached one important conclusion. In our private conversations, he has admitted that the questions cannot be answered by a single soul."
She held his gaze.
