Jisoo spotted him first.
"Hyung!"
He said it at full volume. Two journalists in the corridor turned to look. Haejin glanced over his shoulder at the sound.
He saw the members.
Then his eyes found Soorin.
It lasted one second. Maybe less. The room was full of people moving around them, camera operators finding positions, journalists settling in, Jisoo already crossing the distance at speed. Just one second across a busy room where it was the two of them looking at each other and everything from the morning was sitting in the space between them, the soup, the stream, the four words on camera, three options on a map, all of it, in one second.
Then Jisoo arrived at full Jisoo energy and grabbed Haejin's arm and started talking, and Haejin looked at him and answered something with a small, fond expression that only came out around the members, and the moment folded back into the group the way those moments did. Quick and quiet. Seen by exactly two people.
She looked away first.
