Chapter 434 - For The Culture!

Minjae, on the other side of the rooftop, had ended up in a corner with F. Jay.

It had started as a quick hello after the post-press conference conversation wound down, but F. Jay had mentioned something about how the investor side of the project had moved, and Minjae had asked one question, and then another, and now they were both standing with drinks they weren't drinking anymore and actually talking.

F. Jay was generous in a way Minjae hadn't expected. He talked about how he'd structured the early agreements, what the red flags were in media contracts, how to hold onto creative ownership when the money came from people who had very specific ideas about what a story should be.

"The thing they always want to change first," F. Jay said, "is the ending."

"Because it's the most visible part," Minjae said.
