And he was pretending to read something on his tablet. Except the tablet was upside down.
"Appa," Soorin said slowly, trying not to laugh. "Your tablet is upside down."
He quickly flipped it right-side up, looking caught. "I knew that."
"Sure you did, honey," Calista said, reaching over to run her hand through his hair affectionately. "Very convincing."
Soorin sat down, highly suspicious now. "Okay. What's going on? Why are you being weird?"
"I'm not being weird."
"You're wearing sweatpants to dinner. You never wear sweatpants to dinner. You once told me sweatpants were 'giving up on life.'"
"I changed my mind about sweatpants."
"Appa."
He sighed, setting down the tablet. "How was the fitting?"
