Soorin stood in front of her closet, staring at her options.
Today was the day.
She pulled out a soft knitted sweater in pale lavender. It had a delicate scoop neckline that looked innocent and sweet without being too revealing. Paired it with tailored cream slacks. Simple. Approachable. The kind of outfit that said "I'm trying my best" without screaming "I have money."
She twisted her hair up into a loose bun, leaving a few soft pieces framing her face. It showed off the neckline of the sweater and made her look younger. More vulnerable.
Minimal makeup. Just enough to look awake. Not enough to look like she was performing.
Though she absolutely was performing.
Just not the performance Hyunjoo expected.
Her phone buzzed. Haejin.

She took one last look in the mirror. The lavender sweater made her look soft and gentle in the morning light.
