"Nothing," Haejin said quickly.
"Doesn't sound like nothing," Jisoo pressed.
"It's nothing. Doyun's just being Doyun."
"I'm being observant," Doyun corrected. "There's a difference."
Minjae was watching them both now. "Did something specific happen in Vegas that we don't know about?"
"We became close," Haejin repeated. "That's all that matters. That's all the interview needs to know."
Taekyung nodded, accepting it. "Fair. Control the narrative. Answer what you want, deflect what you don't. The public doesn't have a right to know everything."
"Exactly," Haejin said, shooting Doyun another pleading look.
Doyun just grinned wider. Clearly enjoying having leverage.
"But seriously," Doyun said, "you give them enough truth to seem honest. 'We connected in Vegas. Became close. But circumstances were complicated.' That's perfect. Vague enough to be private. Clear enough to satisfy curiosity."
