She unbuckled her seatbelt.
The click echoed in the quiet car like a starting gun.
"Soorin—"
"Shh." She pressed a finger to his lips, gentle but firm. "Just saying goodbye properly."
Before he could formulate a coherent response, she moved with surprising grace, climbing over the center console and settling herself on his lap like it was the most natural thing in the world.
His hands found her hips without conscious thought, steadying her as she adjusted her position. The warmth of her body seeped through the fabric of their clothes, and his brain struggled to catch up with what was happening.
"What are you doing?"
"Saying goodbye, oppa."
The word hit him like a physical force, stealing the breath from his lungs.
"We're in public—"
"Tinted windows." She smiled, leaning closer until he could count every individual eyelash framing those devastating blue eyes. "And I'll be quick."
She kissed him.
