Haejin blinked. "What?"
"We just got in the car and drove off. I don't think either of us actually said where we're going."
They both looked at each other.
Then at the driver.
Who was calmly navigating through Seoul traffic. Professional. Unbothered.
"Excuse me," Haejin called forward. "Where are you taking us?"
The driver glanced in the rearview mirror. "Back to the LUMEN dorm, sir. Standard protocol."
"Oh." Haejin sat back. "Right."
Soorin started laughing. "We were having this whole moment about the future and we don't even know where we're going."
"In our defense, today has been insane."
"Fair."
Haejin leaned forward. Tapped the driver's shoulder. "Actually, change of plans. Can you take us to that coffee shop in Gangnam? The one near the Coex?"
"Of course, sir."
The car switched lanes. Heading in a different direction now.
Soorin raised an eyebrow. "Coffee? Now?"
