"Then maybe you should—"
Soorin didn't let him finish.
She grabbed the edge of his towel. Not to pull it off. Just to hold it there. Keep him from retreating.
"Should what?" Her voice dropped lower. Teasing.
Haejin's breath caught. "I was going to say I should get dressed."
"Were you?"
"Yeah. That was definitely..." He stopped when her fingers traced along the edge of the towel. Just above where it was tucked. "What are you doing?"
"Testing something."
"Testing what exactly?"
She looked up at him through her lashes. "How long you can keep talking before you completely lose your train of thread."
He laughed. Nervous. "That's not fair."
"What's not fair about it?"
"You're..." Her hand moved to his chest. Palm flat against his sternum. Still warm from the shower. "You're not playing fair."
"I didn't realize there were rules."
"There aren't. That's the problem."
She smiled. Slow. Dangerous. "Is it a problem?"
"Soorin..."
"My dad did say we could sleep in here together."
