Soorin touched his hand under the table.
He flinched.
But didn't pull away.
"He can't," she said quietly.
"Can't what?"
"Explain. Can't defend himself."
Manager Park's expression shifted.
Understanding dawning.
"The truth would require—"
"Admitting things no one would believe," Soorin finished.
The PR head looked between them.
"What are you talking about?"
Silence.
Then Haejin spoke.
Voice hollow.
"Manager Park knows a fraction of it."
Everyone stared.
"What?" Doyun asked.
"The makeup artists. The ones before Soorin. They didn't just mess up. They—"
He stopped.
Couldn't continue.
Soorin squeezed his hand.
"Some of them crossed boundaries," she said carefully. "Touched him without consent. Made advances. When he rejected them, they escalated."
"So he yelled at them," Minjae said slowly. "Because they were assaulting him."
"Yes."
"And the recordings—"
"Are real. But edited to remove what provoked those reactions."
