Day Three arrived with perfect weather.
Clear skies. Warm sun. Gentle breeze.
The kind of day made for beaches.
Manager Park's voice came through the resort speakers at 9 AM.
"Good morning everyone! Beach activities start at 10. Swimsuit competition voting begins at noon. Don't forget sunscreen!"
Soorin groaned.
Pulled the pillow over her head.
'Why did I agree to this?'
Minji was already up.
Rummaging through her suitcase.
"I can't decide between the red one or the blue one."
"Both are cute," Hana said from the bathroom.
"But which one makes me look better?"
"The red."
"You think?"
Soorin sat up.
Rubbed her eyes.
Looked at her own suitcase.
Still packed.
Still containing the navy bikini.
Her stomach twisted.
"Soorin, what are you wearing?" Minji asked.
"I don't know yet."
"Well, hurry up. We need to leave in thirty minutes."
She dragged herself out of bed.
Opened her suitcase.
Searched for the one-piece.
It wasn't there.
'What the—'
She dug deeper.
