The afternoon dragged.
Soorin tried to work.
Organizing her kit. Planning looks for upcoming shoots.
But her mind wouldn't focus.
Kept drifting to Haejin.
To the way he'd looked at her in the gym.
The way he'd kissed her.
The way he'd walked away.
Cold. Distant. Gone.
At 4 PM, her phone buzzed.
Group text from Manager Park.
[Practice room. 4:30. Need to run through choreography changes.]
She headed down.

Mirrored walls. Hardwood floors. Sound system.
The members were already there.
Stretching. Warming up.
A choreographer Soorin didn't recognize stood at the front.
Young. Korean. Intense energy.
Manager Park made introductions.
"Everyone, this is Choreographer Min. I'm sure you know her from your trainee days. She'll be working with you on the revised routines for the LA shows."
The members bowed.
Polite. Professional.
Choreographer Min smiled.
"Let's get started."
