Haejin's voice.

Desperate.
"Soorin, please."
She didn't move.
"Let me explain."
'No. No no no.'
"That wasn't what it looked like."
Another knock.
"She set that up. She knew you were coming."
Her hands clenched.
"Please. Just listen."
She walked to the door.
Stood there.
Hand on the knob.
"Soorin, I'm begging you."
She could hear it.
The desperation.
The pain.
"It wasn't real. None of it was real."
Her hand stayed on the knob.
Not opening.
Not letting go.
"I would never—with her—not like that."
She closed her eyes.
"Please. Just open the door."
'Don't. Don't do it.'
"Five minutes. That's all I'm asking."
She stepped back.
Pressed her hands over her ears.
Couldn't listen.
Couldn't let herself believe.
"Soorin!"
The knocking got louder.
"Please!"
She slid down.
Back against the door.
Hands still over her ears.
But she could still hear him.
"I need you to understand—"
The knocking continued.
Five minutes.
Seven.
Ten.
