According to how things were supposed to go, once this guy appeared, the small monsters around Axel would all hide in fear.
Because of that, the Adventurers' Guild would no longer have any suitable quests for beginners.
With nothing to do, Megumin would discover the castle and start bombing it with Explosion Magic once per day.
That would enrage the headless knight.
He would come to Axel, find the troublemaker, and order Megumin to stop. Megumin would refuse without hesitation.
He would then curse her.
Darkness would notice and take the curse in her place.
The headless knight would declare that Darkness would die in a week and leave, telling them to come to the castle if they wanted to save her.
What he wouldn't know was that the curse would be purified by Aqua shortly after.
He would return to the castle and wait for a full week.
During that time, Megumin would continue bombing the castle every day.
Eventually, the furious headless knight would return to Axel, discover that the curse had been broken, and get mocked by Aqua.
Completely enraged, he would attempt to slaughter the town.
In the end, he would be defeated and killed by Aqua's party.
The bounty on him was enormous.
After he was eliminated, Kazuma's party, as the MVPs, would receive three hundred million Eris.
Unfortunately, due to Aqua summoning a massive flood, nearby buildings would be washed away.

"A Demon King's army executive, huh?" Kazuma said. "That guy must be insanely strong."
Darkness nodded.
"If he's an executive, then he's probably an ogre lord, a vampire, a great demon, or even a dragon. No matter which one it is, we'd be killed in a single hit."
Kazuma frowned. "Then why would something like that come here? Axel is supposed to be a beginner town."
Darkness shook her head. She had no idea.
Then Emiya spoke.
"Let's go kill the Demon King's army executive."

Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness all froze.
It took a few seconds for anyone to react.
Kazuma reached out and touched Emiya's forehead.
Emiya slapped his hand away.
Kazuma wasn't offended. He just looked worried.
"Emiya-san... are you okay? Do you have a fever?"
"Yeah," Aqua said for once without arguing. "You look really suspicious."
Emiya frowned. "Why would I have a fever?"
Kazuma looked even more confused.
"Then why are you saying something this crazy? A Demon King's army executive? We're beginner adventurers."
Megumin nodded vigorously.
"Even though my Explosion Magic is extremely powerful, fighting an executive right now would be very difficult."
Aqua added, "Emiya, I know you want to defeat the Demon King so I can go back to the heavens, but we're still too weak. Beating an executive is impossible."
Darkness, on the other hand, was glowing.
"No, no, no. I agree with Emiya!" she said excitedly. "As a knight, I cannot ignore a Demon King's army executive! I'm willing to go with Emiya and fight him!"
"When the time comes, you can all abandon me and escape! I'll hold him back with my body!"
"Even if I'm captured afterward and subjected to this and that, don't worry! As a righteous crusader, I will never yield!"

He didn't push the issue.
"Alright," he said. "Let's drop it."
Still, he knew very well that as long as Megumin kept bombing the castle, the headless knight would eventually come to Axel.
When that happened, it wouldn't be too late for him to act.
Over the next few days, everything progressed exactly as expected.
