he asked in a quiet, but curious tone
"Is the religion of first flame true, and is the emperor actually a god"
Gideon gives a grin
"This is my favorite part of telling new recruits about." as he gives a weeping smile as he continues
"No" the moment he said it the room went silent
Daniel was quite as his mind went cold, his mind started to rub into itself as he couldn't even think
"Boy, the religion of first flame was created in like 119 as they used another religion and inflated it into the first flame when emperor Adrian Marcus Augustus was crowned so the former emperor David Damion Augustus in order to solidate control started to push propaganda in order to solidate power"
Daniel let out a shutter, an almost weak weep
"I believed that the first flame was the true religion, that the stars were humanity birth right so now its all-wrong, wrong"
but half-way through the sentence it wasn't a weep but anger and rage as he stands up and slams on the table

Gideon in a cheeky grin answered in a tone of pure arrogances

Daniel isn't happy with it, but his mind is still reeling from the truth
the truth that first flame is a religion created to consolidate power, he didn't mind the fact theology existed, or UHE lies about Xenos existing and the lies they told in history

Daniel kind of feels a calm but that statement by Gideon kind of kicks his brain

that question made him feel like Sir Gideon doesn't think he has enough common sense, which kind of makes him feel humiliated
"Daniel were about to enter the realm of shadows" informed sir Gideon

as he continues

Daniel understood that theology is dangerous, but it is a useful tool that can't be thrown away but can be hid to protect the average person but the hiding of xenos is probably created by the house to keep their power
"How many species exist that like are on par with us"

"Why do a have to meet the council I don't want to be a theology user after you told me about the corruption"

Daniel walks back into the couch as he lies down but one thing remains in his head that the first flame is a lie created by the houses and that emperor is a god like being what is a lord vessel actually capable of that questions haunt him, but the fact superpower exists and he is now an inquisitor and how proud his mom and dad would be that enough for him but if he wanted to protect them he will need to become a THEOLOGY USER
