Chapter 275 - Chapter 274: Yin-Yang Death Extreme Domain!

Not long after, through the gaps in the branches, a lakeside building appeared in Tang Hao's sight.

He quietly observed for a long time—no figures, no sound, no soul power or spiritual fluctuations.

Tang Hao no longer hesitated. With a few leaps, he stepped out of the forest and landed on the grass, striding toward the building, every muscle taut, keeping himself on guard.

"Who is that?" Inside, Chrysanthemum Douluo watched through the internal viewing mirror, full of doubt.

"It's Tang Hao." Ghost Douluo carefully observed the man's height, build, and hair, fingers sliding lightly in the air.

"He should be wearing a special mask."

Chrysanthemum Douluo's brows rose. Exchanging glances with Ghost Douluo, both quickly suppressed their auras.

Soon, Tang Hao arrived at the main door. Seeing it shut, he carefully erased the footprints behind him and leapt up onto the top floor balcony.

His eyes swept across the place as he stepped boldly inside.

Down the corridor, he pushed open a room—it was empty. A glance told him no one had ever lived here. He shut the door and tried another. Empty again.

After inspecting the entire third floor, all the rooms were uninhabited.

'So only four people really live here, and they all stay on the first floor.' Relaxing slightly, Tang Hao descended toward the lower levels.

Step, step, step—his footsteps were light as he went down the stairs.

His eyes swept the living room. Skirting the counter, he moved toward the corridor and pushed open a door on the right.

"Tang Hao, what a coincidence!" Gold light suddenly flared before him, vision vanishing in a blinding flash, mixed with mocking laughter.

Tang Hao's face changed drastically. He didn't need to wonder why the two were here. If they dared wait in ambush, they had absolute confidence. Without doubt, this was a trap. Perhaps Dugu Bo was even outside.

He could not afford to fight head-on. If dragged out, the consequences would be dire.

"A mere Chrysanthemum and a little Ghost—you think you can keep me here?" He snorted coldly, turning swiftly to avoid the searing light, charging for the nearest wall. The Clear Sky Hammer appeared in his hand, raised high to smash open an escape.

Back at the Pope Hall, even Bibi Dong, Chrysanthemum, Ghost, and four Titled Douluo together hadn't managed to kill him.

These two alone? He wasn't afraid in the least.

"Naïve!" Chrysanthemum Douluo sneered, releasing a surge of overwhelming fluctuation. "Yin-Yang Death Extreme Domain!"

The air fell silent. Wherever the wave passed, color drained away, space itself turned gray. In the corridor, Tang Hao froze mid-swing, body shrouded in wisps of gray aura like burning flames.

Step, step, step—

Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo walked out shoulder to shoulder, gray aura rising at their feet.

"Allow me to give you a grand introduction." Chrysanthemum Douluo bowed slightly. "This is the advanced form of our Bipolar Static Domain—the Yin-Yang Death Extreme Domain. My martial soul's essence power of blazing yang combines with Old Ghost's death and resentment qi to form the extreme yin. The two forces oppose and intertwine, birthing eroding power. The yang stirs inner fire, burning away the body. The yin consumes spirit and soul."

"Inside this domain, flesh and soul suffer together until nothing remains, soul scattered to the void."

"Tang Hao, you're fortunate to be the first to experience it."

"I imagine you're already in agony—so much that you can't even draw upon your soul power." As gray fluid trickled from Tang Hao's eyes, nose, and mouth, Chrysanthemum Douluo smiled faintly. "Don't bother struggling. It's useless."

"With both of us at rank 97 peak, did you really think a wounded rank 95 Titled Douluo like you could escape? That would be an insult to us. At the Pope Hall, we only let you go because we wanted your soul bones later."

"You didn't truly believe yourself invincible, did you?"

In the next instant, scarlet light flared inside the gray domain.

Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo's expressions changed as the Clear Sky Hammer in Tang Hao's hand blazed with bloody patterns.

Puff, puff!

Without hesitation, both drove their palms straight through his chest.

Tang Hao's torso was pierced through, blood gushing from his mouth as the hammer's glow dimmed. A moment later, the Clear Sky Hammer dissipated entirely.

Only then did Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo withdraw, canceling their fusion skill. Tang Hao collapsed to the ground like a rag doll.

"Useless trash." In the God Realm, the Asura God furrowed his brow as his divine sense flickered.

"What a Yin-Yang Death Extreme Domain. To think mortals could comprehend such a thing. Tang Hao, that waste, didn't die unjustly."

The Death God Domain had been one of his god tests, carrying a sliver of his divine will to monitor the lower realm and seek successors. A moment ago, as Tang Hao's will struggled desperately at death's door, that sliver was roused. But before he could even sense clearly, Tang Hao was killed.

Of course, even if he had sensed in time, he would not have interfered.

The God Realm could not intervene in the mortal world. As an enforcer, he upheld that law. And Tang Hao was only an abandoned spare candidate.

Had Tang Hao not wasted away in depression, he might have been chosen instead of Tang Chen. A pity.

Tang San too had once drawn his attention, but later disappointed him.

It was Yang Yunhai, Tang San's rival, who surprised him. He hadn't expected the boy to become the Child of Nature so quickly. Too late to prepare, he had not monitored him closely enough.

'When the time comes, Life and Destruction will certainly interfere,' he thought grimly.

With Tang Hao's death, the faint divine wisp scattered, the link severed.

"Old Ghost, don't just stand there. Strip the bones already." Chrysanthemum Douluo urged. "And hurry to tidy this place. Lucky we struck first, or the whole house would be rubble by now."

Ghost Douluo swept his gaze over the bloodstains, nodded, and together they dragged Tang Hao's corpse into the bath.

Before long, six soul bones were pried free, leaving Tang Hao a mangled mess.

"We'll wait until Xiao Hai returns before distributing them," Ghost Douluo said evenly.

"Fine." Chrysanthemum Douluo lifted his chin. "This time, even the old poisoner should have something to smile at."

"And the corpse? Do we bury it?" Ghost asked.

"Leave it." Ghost's eyes flashed. "Tang Hao broke into a private residence with intent to kill, and was slain by Dugu Bo. With Xiao Hai's current prestige, this alone implicates the Clear Sky Sect. At least their reputation will suffer. This human-skin mask also proves another life taken."

"A perfect excuse to brand him as a butcher." Chrysanthemum Douluo smirked.

"And Xue Ye can issue a citywide search warrant for the fallen soul master Tang San," Ghost Douluo continued. "If I'm right, he's hiding in Moon Pavilion right now. Tonight is the best time to strike."

"Then we'll conceal ourselves nearby. Perhaps we can catch him."

"Agreed." Chrysanthemum Douluo nodded slightly.

Together, they began tidying up the room.

T/N: Not gonna Lie, I was really Disappointed by Reading this Chapter, I was hoping for a Epic Clash but turns out he literally stepped into his Doom, all in his arrogance and recklessness.
