Chapter 370 - Chapter 370

Annihilation Trinity had already entered the exposed outer layer of Judicael's inner channel, leaving the final exchange concentrated around a section of the god weapon no wider than the damaged lower guard. The broad pressures that had dominated the battlefield during the formation of Radiant Verdict had been compressed into that single route, where white-gold divine power continued moving through a conduit that Oblivion Rend had begun weakening from within. Radiant Verdict still extended from Judicael toward Noctis, but little remained of the declaration that had first forced Aegis inward over his sternum. Its surviving form was a narrow white-gold channel maintained by Aurelion's constant reinforcement and the few mirror plates still capable of correcting its direction.

Noctis remained in the same position he had held throughout the later stages of the clash. His shortened blood-forged sword rested beside his right leg while the Bloodfang Reapers stayed near his shoulders, their close orbit preserving them without adding unnecessary movement to the field between him and Aurelion. The Genesis Halos behind him continued rotating in the controlled configuration he had established after reducing the broader functions of Annihilation Trinity, with only the output required to dismantle Judicael's conduit still active. Aegis had already returned close to its normal shape, leaving Radiant Verdict touching the outer defense without enough sustained pressure to force it significantly inward.

The declaration remained aimed toward the old soul-vessel route beneath Noctis's sternum whenever the surviving mirrors could maintain the correction. Judicael had not lost the information gathered during the earlier trial phases, and Aurelion continued using that knowledge to concentrate the attack over the same structurally sensitive region. The targeting remained precise when the mirror system received clean support, but precision had never been enough to make the holy structure penetrate Noctis's ascended vessel. Radiant Verdict could place god-level force against Aegis and make his body bear the physical compression, yet the sanctity itself continued stopping at the boundary.

Aurelion forced another surge of divine power through Judicael. White-gold pressure gathered through the intact portions of his halo before descending through the already strained collarbone conduit, crossing the right shoulder and inner elbow before reaching the damaged wrist holding the blade-scepter. The joint settled lower as the increased load passed through it, forcing his left hand to move farther along the shaft and accept more of Judicael's weight before the lower guard could dip. The correction kept the weapon aligned, but the burden no longer passed through Aurelion's right side without visible compensation.

His damaged wing-root opened beneath the redistribution. A narrow stream of sanctity escaped from the attachment and trailed behind the partially folded wing until Aurelion reduced its extension, allowing the healthier left side to carry more of the stabilizing pressure. The fractured halo spoke behind him lagged farther than the intact spokes during the increase in output before recovering part of the distance once the surge entered Judicael. Nothing in that accumulated damage prevented him from reinforcing the weapon, but every attempt now required support from structures that had already been strained repeatedly during the battle.

The inner channel brightened when the divine surge reached it. White-gold reinforcement spread through the damaged conduit and filled several of the openings Trinity had created, temporarily thickening the structure around the route feeding Radiant Verdict. The repair remained uneven because the channel had already lost continuity around the widened seam, leaving new sanctity layered across sections that no longer carried support at the same rate as the deeper weapon. Aurelion could replace what had been stripped from the surface, but he could not make those restored layers behave as though Trinity had never reached them.

Oblivion Rend entered the repaired sections before they settled. Structural cohesion weakened first along the boundaries where the new sanctity joined older divine construction, widening the small differences Aurelion's reinforcement had attempted to cover. Divine Inversion followed through those exposed areas, disrupting the compatibility of the white-gold support before the restored layer could become a stable part of Judicael again. Part of Aurelion's reinforcement bled sideways into the surrounding weapon structure instead of continuing toward Radiant Verdict, forcing him to spend more power simply to preserve the same narrow route.

The reduced portion of Abyssal Genesis Dominion remained inside the openings already established within the conduit. Noctis kept the black pressure confined to those damaged spaces rather than allowing it to spread deeper into Judicael, using it only to prevent the replacement sanctity from closing the gaps during the interval between Oblivion Rend and Divine Inversion. Crimson Crucible Tempest circulated through the same restricted region and drew away whatever divine essence separated from the channel before it could settle back into the weapon. Purity Inversion Flames appeared only where altered sanctity approached the abyssal pressure, consuming the unstable residue before fading as soon as the balance returned.

Aurelion's reinforcement kept the conduit functioning. It did not remove Trinity from it.

Part of the same divine surge reached Radiant Verdict, and the narrow white-gold line brightened between Judicael and Noctis. The surviving mirrors rotated around the remaining support routes and pulled the declaration tighter, concentrating more of the recovered pressure over the sternum where the old soul-vessel route remained buried beneath Aegis. For several moments, Radiant Verdict regained enough density to press against Noctis with noticeable force. The declaration was weaker than it had been before Trinity entered Judicael, but Aurelion could still make the surviving connection matter by devoting enough power to it.

Noctis absorbed the increase through his stance. His upper body shifted backward by a fraction while both boots remained planted in the fractured ground, and his knees bent enough to distribute the pressure through his legs rather than allowing the entire load to settle through the sternum and spine. Blood-forged armor adjusted across his chest where Aegis transferred the external force, keeping the pressure from concentrating against one plate. Beneath all of it, the old soul-vessel scar remained unchanged.

The sanctity accumulated at the defensive boundary without crossing it. Noctis's ascended Genesis resistance continued rejecting the hostile divine structure wherever it attempted to establish itself inside the vessel, leaving Radiant Verdict outside even as Aurelion increased the force behind it. The declaration could exploit knowledge of the old scar to keep the attack focused over a sensitive route, but that knowledge no longer transformed holy power into a natural weakness. What remained dangerous was the amount of god-level force Aurelion could continue applying while Judicael still functioned.

The surviving mirror plates narrowed their correction again. Two surfaces angled toward the Genesis Core while another remained aligned with the sternum, reducing the declaration's width until most of its remaining power passed through one concentrated line. Radiant Verdict sharpened and pressed harder against Aegis, shifting Noctis's shoulders backward while his lower body stayed fixed. The white-gold structure still stopped at the defense.

Noctis did not increase Aegis in response. He kept the shortened sword lowered, and neither Reaper left the space near his shoulders even though the remaining mirror system had abandoned much of its earlier tracking. Every movement he refused to make left Aurelion with fewer opportunities to redirect the surviving trial structures toward another problem. The answer to Radiant Verdict was already operating inside Judicael, where the divine supply carrying the pressure was being dismantled every cycle.

Oblivion Rend spread through the conduit while Aurelion continued maintaining the stronger declaration. The restored outer structure weakened again, and Divine Inversion reached the sanctity passing through it before the next support cycle could distribute cleanly toward the mirrors and Radiant Verdict. The declaration remained dense for several moments before the white-gold line began thinning from Judicael outward. The same increase that had pushed harder against Noctis had also forced more divine power through a route Trinity was already degrading.

One of the surviving mirrors received its next correction late. The plate rotated only after Radiant Verdict had begun drifting away from the sternum, pulling the declaration several centimeters toward the right side of Noctis's chest. A second mirror tried to compensate, but its own support traveled through the same damaged inner route and arrived after the first adjustment should already have been completed. The declaration moved across Aegis rather than remaining centered over the old soul-vessel route.

Noctis allowed it to slide. His underlying resistance did not depend on one small point of reinforcement, so the shift required no concentrated defensive response and gave the mirrors no new circulation change to measure. Radiant Verdict remained unable to penetrate when it pressed against his right chest just as it had failed over the sternum. The loss of precision only spread Aurelion's remaining force across a broader section of Aegis.

Another reinforcement cycle entered Judicael and divided around one of the openings held by Abyssal Genesis. Most of the white-gold pressure continued toward the declaration, but part of the surge bled into the damaged outer structure and was exposed to Divine Inversion before it could return to the central flow. Crimson Crucible Tempest drew the detached sanctity away during the same interval. Each cycle still delivered power to Radiant Verdict, though an increasing portion was being lost simply to keep the path open.

The white-gold line flickered at the point where it met Aegis. Contact weakened, recovered when another surge crossed Judicael, then shifted again as the mirrors attempted to compensate for delayed guidance. One plate rotated too far and drove the declaration toward Noctis's upper abdomen before another surface corrected in the opposite direction. The weapon that had once anticipated Genesis Step routes and tracked several Reapers simultaneously was struggling to hold one narrow attack in a fixed position.

Noctis remained still while the system deteriorated around him. His sword hung beside his leg, and the Reapers maintained their close orbit without drawing another response from Judicael's remaining structures. The Genesis Halos continued rotating at the same measured rate behind him, free of the larger disruptions that had threatened their synchronization earlier. Almost every visible correction now belonged to Aurelion.

The next divine surge entered Judicael differently. Instead of driving all of the pressure through the damaged conduit, Aurelion divided the reinforcement before it reached the exposed junction, sending part toward Radiant Verdict while the rest spread through the deeper weapon structure behind Trinity's forward edge. Crimson Omen Sight showed the shift as the inner portions of Judicael brightened while the outgoing declaration lost density. Aurelion had begun preserving the weapon at the same time he tried to maintain the attack.

Radiant Verdict weakened immediately under the divided support. The pressure against Aegis fell until the defensive layer returned fully to its normal shape, releasing the compression that had remained over Noctis's chest. His breathing deepened naturally once the ribs and sternum no longer had to absorb the same sustained force. The white-gold declaration remained connected, but it no longer altered his stance.

The deeper portion of Judicael brightened behind the damaged conduit. Divine pressure spread through alternate routes around the exposed section and reinforced the weapon structure Trinity had not yet entered, creating a stronger boundary farther inside. Aurelion had not abandoned Radiant Verdict, but he was no longer willing to let the declaration consume every available support route. The change made the hierarchy of his priorities visible through the weapon itself.

Noctis kept Trinity fixed on the damaged conduit. Oblivion Rend did not follow the deeper reinforcement or spread into the protected weapon core, and Abyssal Genesis remained inside the openings already created around the active route. Crimson Omen Sight showed farther paths into Judicael, but they did not matter while Radiant Verdict still existed. Noctis kept the execution sequence tied to the reason it had entered the weapon in the first place.

The surviving mirrors attempted another correction. One upper plate rotated too far when delayed guidance reached it and carried Radiant Verdict toward Noctis's upper abdomen, while another attempted to reverse the movement after the declaration had already shifted. The white-gold line lifted away from Aegis for a brief interval before returning near the sternum. Each break in contact made the weakening of the system more obvious.

Aegis remained unchanged whenever the declaration left it. When Radiant Verdict returned, the sanctity met the same resistance and stopped outside him without requiring Noctis to alter his stance or reinforce the contact point. Judicael's failing precision no longer created a meaningful threat to the old soul-vessel route. The attack was still active because Aurelion refused to let it die, not because it retained the same ability to pressure Noctis it had possessed earlier.

Aurelion sent more power toward the surviving mirrors. Their movement sharpened briefly, and Radiant Verdict returned to a cleaner line over the sternum as additional sanctity crossed the channel. The recovered accuracy lasted only until the damaged conduit beneath them lost another layer. Oblivion Rend widened the weakness around the junction, and Divine Inversion disrupted the white-gold support before the next guidance cycle completed.

Noctis tightened Annihilation Trinity around that junction.

Crimson Omen Sight had followed enough reinforcement cycles to identify the exact point where Aurelion's divine support entered Judicael, the surviving mirror guidance branched upward, and Radiant Verdict passed forward toward the lower guard. Instead of applying equal pressure across the surrounding conduit, Noctis concentrated the selected field around the intersection shared by every remaining part of the compressed trial. He changed no component of Trinity and introduced nothing new; he simply reduced the space in which the established sequence was operating.

Oblivion Rend reached the junction first. The divine construction there resisted far more strongly than the mirror plates, anchor ridges, or Bell channels had because the junction belonged to Judicael itself and remained tied directly to Aurelion's god-level reinforcement. The first collapse cycle damaged only the exposed outer layer. The central route remained intact.

Divine Inversion entered behind the structural damage. Sanctity inside the exposed section lost compatibility with the deeper support and transmitted Aurelion's reinforcement less efficiently, forcing some of the incoming pressure sideways through alternate parts of the weapon. Abyssal Genesis occupied the first narrow opening before it could close, and Crimson Crucible Tempest removed the small amount of divine essence that separated. Purity Inversion Flames burned briefly along the unstable interface and diminished once the imbalance disappeared.

The junction survived the attack, but its function worsened.

Radiant Verdict dimmed and lifted completely from Aegis for a fraction of a second. Another reinforcement cycle restored the line, but the returning declaration touched Noctis near the sternum without enough force to move him. One surviving mirror tried to correct the weak contact and rotated too late, sending the declaration toward his right shoulder instead. Another plate followed afterward and pulled the line back toward center.

Aurelion withdrew Judicael.

The movement came more sharply than his earlier attempts to reposition the blade-scepter. His damaged right wrist dropped beneath the sudden transfer of weight, forcing the left hand to carry nearly all of Judicael for a moment while the inner elbow bent and the shoulder rotated inward. White-gold pressure remained visible beneath the collarbone armor throughout the correction because the strained conduit no longer had time to settle between adjustments.

His damaged right wing folded almost completely against his back. Sanctity escaped around the injured root during the motion before the reduced extension allowed the leak to narrow, while the healthier left wing remained open enough to stabilize his body as he moved the weapon. The cracked halo spoke fell farther behind during the rapid redistribution. Aurelion preserved control, but the withdrawal demanded support from every damaged structure along his right side.

Judicael moved several meters away.

Radiant Verdict remained connected.

The white-gold declaration stretched across the increased distance and changed angle with the retreating weapon, but divine support still passed through the same damaged junction. Trinity therefore remained inside the route without Noctis taking a single step. Aurelion had increased the physical distance between them without changing the path his own attack continued to provide.

Noctis's boots stayed where they had been throughout the later stages of the clash. The shortened sword remained low beside his leg, and the Reapers stayed near enough that their movement no longer mattered to the surviving mirrors. The selected field followed Radiant Verdict through the active connection instead of forcing Noctis to chase the weapon. The geometry changed around him while his body remained still.

Aurelion withdrew Judicael farther. The white-gold line lengthened again, yet the connection did not break because he continued feeding power through it. Trinity stayed inside the junction and kept attacking the same structure regardless of the greater distance. Every attempt to preserve Radiant Verdict preserved Noctis's route into the weapon.

Another reinforcement cycle entered. Oblivion Rend weakened the exposed section before the full surge could cross, and Divine Inversion disrupted part of the sanctity that remained. Radiant Verdict received only the surviving portion. The declaration brightened briefly and faded again before it could recover sustained pressure against Aegis.

Aurelion redirected more of the next cycle behind the junction. The deeper weapon structure stabilized under the additional support while Radiant Verdict weakened correspondingly. The trade had become difficult to conceal. Every measure that preserved Judicael reduced the attack, while every attempt to strengthen the attack exposed more of Judicael to Trinity.

The next surge reached Radiant Verdict at reduced strength. The mirrors rotated to compensate, but the declaration no longer had enough density to maintain continuous contact with Aegis. It lifted away, remained suspended several centimeters from Noctis's chest, and returned only when delayed guidance restored part of the line. Contact disappeared again before the following cycle arrived.

Noctis's chest no longer moved when Radiant Verdict returned.

Aurelion forced another increase through the declaration. The white-gold line regained enough density to remain coherent for several moments, but the effort cost Judicael more of the reinforcement surrounding the inner junction. One section of the conduit dimmed where Trinity stripped sanctity faster than it could be restored, crowding the remaining divine flow through a narrower portion of the route. The weapon was spending more of its own internal stability to preserve an attack that still could not penetrate.

Radiant Verdict flickered hard enough that parts of its outline disappeared between the combatants. One mirror corrected late and drove the declaration toward the right side of Noctis's chest, while another pulled it back several moments afterward. The white-gold line swept across Aegis without finding a point where the underlying resistance differed. Noctis continued treating the moving contact as irrelevant.

The Genesis Halos maintained their controlled rotation behind him. Bell pressure no longer existed as an effective route into the execution sequence, allowing Doctrine of Absolute Sovereignty to keep Trinity synchronized without having to separate repeated timing errors from his body. Aegis no longer compressed around the sternum, and the old soul-vessel scar remained untouched beneath it. The remaining contest was entirely about whether Aurelion would keep spending Judicael to preserve Radiant Verdict.

The next surge answered that question.

Aurelion did not drive it through the declaration.

White-gold power spread around the damaged junction and entered Judicael's deeper structure instead, reinforcing the weapon behind the point Trinity had reached. His right hand shifted along the shaft as the burden changed while the left continued carrying most of the weight. The inner portions of Judicael brightened and settled under the added support.

Radiant Verdict weakened from the source outward.

The white-gold line nearest Judicael narrowed first, losing density before the change reached the portion closest to Noctis. The surviving mirrors remained angled toward him but no longer received enough continuous reinforcement to preserve the declaration between corrections. Aurelion had begun choosing the weapon over the technique.

Noctis maintained Trinity without increasing it. Oblivion Rend removed another layer from the weakened junction, Divine Inversion entered the exposed sanctity, and Abyssal Genesis held the opening while Crimson Crucible Tempest stripped away the detached pressure. Radiant Verdict flickered with every lost section. The attack continued to fail without Noctis needing to spend more than the established sequence already required.

Aurelion did not restore the lost output.

More divine power entered Judicael.

The deeper weapon brightened behind the damaged junction.

Radiant Verdict thinned further.

The mirror plates moved less with every cycle. One stopped after reaching an angle that no longer aligned with Noctis at all, while another remained capable of correction only after delayed support passed through the damaged inner structure. Their surfaces still existed, but the system they had once formed no longer possessed the power required to function as a coordinated whole.

Radiant Verdict lifted away from Aegis and remained there.

For several moments nothing touched Noctis's chest. The declaration still occupied the space between him and Judicael, but its forward end hovered outside his defense while Trinity dismantled the weakening structure behind it. Aurelion continued reinforcing the weapon instead of forcing the attack back into contact.

Noctis did not advance. The sword remained lowered, the Reapers stayed close, and his stance changed only enough to remain comfortable on the fractured ground. All of his offensive pressure remained concentrated inside the junction. He gave Aurelion no reason to reconsider which structure mattered more.

Another support cycle passed through the god-body and entered Judicael.

Most of the pressure went inward.

Radiant Verdict dimmed.

Aurelion's decision became complete.

Judicael received the reinforcement.

The declaration did not.

The deeper weapon structure brightened as divine pressure gathered behind the damaged junction and formed a firmer boundary against Trinity's forward edge. In front of that reinforcement, the conduit supporting Radiant Verdict survived only on the power already trapped within it. Nothing new entered the failing route.

The white-gold line collapsed first near Judicael.

Oblivion Rend removed the structural cohesion from the unsupported section before any replacement sanctity could arrive. Divine Inversion entered immediately afterward and disrupted the remaining divine relation holding the declaration together. Radiant Verdict separated into shorter lengths without producing an explosion or outward shock.

Crimson Crucible Tempest gathered the detached essence before it could drift back toward Judicael. Abyssal Genesis occupied the spaces between the separated pieces, preventing the remaining divine pressure from bridging the gaps. Purity Inversion Flames appeared along the unstable boundaries where sanctity attempted to reconnect and consumed them before fading again. The break moved steadily toward Noctis.

The declaration shortened across the open space.

The surviving mirrors still faced him, but there was no longer a continuous technique for them to guide. One plate shifted slightly and stopped. Another remained fixed at an angle aimed toward the sternum without receiving another correction.

Half of the remaining white-gold line disappeared.

Aegis stayed at its normal shape.

The closest surviving fragment drifted several meters from Noctis's chest before Trinity reached it. Oblivion Rend dismantled the structure holding the piece together, and Divine Inversion stripped the sanctity maintaining its coherence. Crimson Crucible Tempest carried away what remained before the fragment could contact Aegis again.

Another section failed behind it.

Then another.

Radiant Verdict collapsed through the space between Noctis and Judicael one fragment at a time, no longer supported by the god weapon that had created it. Aurelion kept his reinforcement concentrated inside Judicael and did not attempt to restore the connection.

The last coherent portion remained close to Noctis only because it had already been near Aegis when Aurelion redirected the supply. It drifted forward and touched the defensive boundary as a thin strip of white-gold sanctity, carrying no mirror correction, no Bell vibration, and no new pressure from Judicael. The fragment pressed against Aegis and stopped.

Noctis did not respond.

His ascended Genesis resistance rejected the remaining sanctity at the same boundary that had held against the full declaration.

Trinity reached the fragment from behind.

Oblivion Rend removed its final cohesion, Divine Inversion stripped the sanctity, and Crimson Crucible Tempest drew away what separated. The white-gold contact disappeared without affecting Aegis. Radiant Verdict ceased to exist between them.

No foreign pressure remained around Noctis's sternum. The old soul-vessel route required no purge, restoration, or isolation because nothing had crossed the defensive boundary during the clash. The declaration had targeted the scar, pressed against the defense protecting it, and failed. Genesis Core circulation continued through its established routes without needing to bypass any residual holy structure.

Annihilation Trinity remained active for several moments after Radiant Verdict vanished. Its forward edge still occupied Judicael's damaged inner junction, where Aurelion had gathered enough divine support behind the break to preserve the deeper weapon. Crimson Omen Sight showed the path continuing farther inward through reinforced structures that had not yet been damaged. The attack Noctis had followed backward was gone, but the route it had exposed remained.

Oblivion Rend continued against the outer edge of the junction for one more cycle. The damaged structure weakened farther, Divine Inversion entered the remaining sanctity, and Abyssal Genesis occupied the opening. The reinforcement behind it resisted without losing continuity. Judicael remained intact.

Aurelion held the weapon with both hands while keeping most of its weight on the left side. Divine pressure continued moving behind the damaged junction and into the deeper weapon rather than returning to the route Radiant Verdict had used. The right hand stabilized the shaft without trying to regain the dominant support position it had held before the accumulated wrist damage. Judicael no longer fed anything toward Noctis.

Crimson Omen Sight showed Noctis that Trinity could continue.

The route into the deeper weapon core was open enough to attack.

He did not pursue it.

Radiant Verdict was gone, and the structures that had sustained it had already been dismantled. The lower mirrors were destroyed or unusable, the Bell network no longer possessed a functional connection, the anchor ridges had been reduced, and the lower severance borders no longer formed a coherent perimeter around Judicael. Continuing farther would change the purpose of the exchange from severing Aurelion's judgment to attempting to destroy the god weapon itself.

That would require Trinity to engage Judicael's deeper construction while Aurelion reinforced it directly. Noctis had already forced Aurelion to abandon Radiant Verdict and had stripped away the systems that made the declaration difficult to escape earlier in the battle. Spending additional Genesis power simply because the route remained visible offered no immediate advantage. He stopped the forward advance at the reinforced boundary.

Trinity remained against the junction for several cycles without moving deeper. Oblivion Rend kept the damaged section from closing immediately, and Divine Inversion continued disrupting the exposed sanctity long enough to prevent Aurelion from restoring the entire route the moment the declaration disappeared. Behind the damaged point, Aurelion reinforced the deeper weapon without trying to push Judicael back through the annihilation pressure. The two forces remained in contact around the broken conduit without either expanding the contest.

When the loose sanctity around the severed section had been stripped away, Noctis began releasing Annihilation Trinity.

Crimson Crucible Tempest slowed first. The controlled blood currents completed one final circulation through the damaged conduit and the surrounding field, gathering the divine residue left from Radiant Verdict and the support structures destroyed during the backward advance. The flow narrowed as less loose pressure remained and then turned back toward Noctis in controlled streams. Hostile sanctity did not return to his vessel in the state Aurelion had released it.

Divine Inversion and Purity Inversion had already altered the material before the Crucible collected it. Anything incompatible with Noctis's Genesis structure was consumed rather than reclaimed, while the remaining energy could be processed without restoring Aurelion's power to the battlefield. The final loose fragments disappeared from the area around Judicael. Crimson Crucible Tempest ended without disturbing the weapon beyond the damage already inflicted.

Abyssal Genesis Dominion contracted next. The black pressure occupying the openings inside Judicael's junction withdrew without tearing additional material from the surrounding divine structure. The few stabilizing chains still present dissolved and returned toward the Genesis Halos, leaving behind gaps that had already lost their original reinforcement. Noctis made no attempt to keep those spaces open once the execution sequence entered its shutdown.

Aurelion responded as soon as the abyssal pressure withdrew. White-gold reinforcement entered the vacated sections from deeper inside Judicael and began stabilizing the damaged conduit from behind. The repair stopped at the severed junction rather than immediately reconstructing the Radiant Verdict route, because the surrounding mirror and Bell systems capable of using it no longer remained intact. Noctis allowed the restoration to continue.

Purity Inversion Flames diminished as the last abyssal interfaces disappeared. The remaining black-crimson fire contracted around small regions of altered sanctity, consumed the instability there, and went out. Nothing spread deeper into the god weapon or across the surrounding terrain. The balancing component ended when the interaction that required it disappeared.

Divine Inversion reduced after it. The Genesis Halos changed their relationship as the sanctity-conversion pressure withdrew from Judicael's channel, allowing white-gold reinforcement entering from Aurelion to behave according to the weapon's own divine structure again. The damaged conduit remained weakened, but Noctis no longer altered every repair cycle passing through it. The exchange was already over.

Oblivion Rend remained last.

Structural-collapse pressure continued holding the severed junction open while the other parts of Trinity disappeared. Noctis allowed the damage to settle into its final condition without letting Aurelion's first repair cycle erase the entire break before the technique ended. The lower channel remained visibly compromised even as the deeper weapon structure stabilized behind it.

Then Oblivion Rend released.

The pressure inside Judicael disappeared.

The selected annihilation region collapsed as the Genesis Halos behind Noctis slowed and returned toward their ordinary configuration. The battlefield no longer held the confined Trinity boundary that had separated Malgoryth from the technique clash, and the controlled blood currents, abyssal pressure, and black-crimson flames vanished with it. What remained belonged directly to the three combatants and the weapons still in their hands.

Noctis stayed where he had been rather than using the end of Trinity to close the distance. His shortened blood-forged sword remained in his right hand, and the Reapers widened their orbit only slightly now that there was no longer a need to keep every construct compressed close to his body. Sovereign Arsenal restored their normal balance without sending either one toward Aurelion. Aegis remained intact around him as Genesis Vessel continued working through the ordinary physical injuries accumulated earlier in the battle.

The cut along his right forearm had already closed beneath the blood-forged armor. His injured palm required more attention because repeated strain had prevented the center from healing as quickly as the surrounding tissue, but Genesis Vessel tightened it gradually each time his hand shifted around the sword rather than forcing the wound closed under tension. The thigh had sealed again, leaving only stiffness where the same damaged tissue had carried his weight through several different exchanges. His ankle supported him without the altered angle that had been necessary after the canceled Genesis Step.

The remaining soreness through his chest came from the sustained external force Radiant Verdict had placed against Aegis. That pressure had repeatedly compressed the defensive layer and transferred weight through the sternum and ribs, leaving the surrounding muscles carrying the consequences even though no sanctity had entered his vessel. The old soul-vessel scar remained exactly as it had been before Aurelion targeted it. Genesis Vessel had no holy wound to repair there.

His Genesis Core continued settling after the expenditure of Trinity. The greater cost had come from maintaining five synchronized powers while Bell pressure repeatedly interfered with the timing of his body and from carrying the physical damage accumulated before the execution sequence formed. Doctrine of Absolute Sovereignty regulated the transition as the Genesis Halos returned toward their normal rhythm. Noctis's stance remained stable while that process continued.

Aurelion held Judicael across the damaged ground with a grip that had changed substantially from the one used before Radiant Verdict. The deeper weapon core had survived because he redirected reinforcement behind the damaged junction before Trinity advanced farther inward, but the structures surrounding the lower guard no longer resembled the compressed trial that had existed at the beginning of the judgment sequence. Most of the weapon's weight remained on his left side. His right hand stayed on the shaft to guide and stabilize rather than carry the central load.

The lower mirror cluster had disappeared completely. Empty space surrounded the portion of Judicael where several plates had once tracked Noctis's sword, Reapers, and displacement routes, and the structures removed by Trinity did not return when the annihilation field ended. The lower guard looked exposed compared with the layered arrangement that had previously surrounded it. Aurelion's reinforcement moved through what remained without reconstructing the missing plates.

Several mirrors survived farther up the weapon, though none were intact enough to recreate the former guidance network. One had lost most of its lower border and remained several degrees outside a useful angle, while another carried a fracture across the reflective surface and stopped whenever its attachment reached the damaged support beneath it. A third retained enough reinforcement to rotate but lacked the surrounding plates necessary for coordinated correction. Their continued existence preserved parts of Judicael's trial architecture without restoring the system Aurelion had used against Noctis.

The Bell structure had been reduced in the same way. Part of the compact ring remained beneath the guard, but the lower distribution channel that had carried its vibration through Radiant Verdict and into Trinity had been severed. A faint internal movement remained when divine pressure shifted through Judicael, yet no coherent pulse crossed the battlefield toward Noctis. Restoring that timing pressure would require rebuilding the supporting route rather than merely supplying more sanctity.

The anchor ridges had either been destroyed or driven back into the weapon. Several were gone completely, while others remained shortened beneath the lower guard after retracting before Trinity reached their bases. None extended toward Noctis or responded to the Reapers moving near his shoulders. Without the mirror guidance and Bell timing that had once coordinated them, the surviving anchors remained isolated structures rather than an active trap network.

Most of the lower severance borders had also disappeared. The clean white-gold edges that had crossed blood-metal and movement routes were gone with the plates that supported them or had lost the reinforcement required to maintain a stable boundary. A few remained farther up Judicael's shaft, but they no longer enclosed the lower guard in the layered perimeter that had constrained Noctis earlier. The weapon remained dangerous without retaining every system it had compressed into itself.

The guard carried the deepest visible damage. The seam Noctis had first opened with his shortened sword had widened under Trinity until the divine conduit behind it could be seen whenever white-gold pressure passed through the lower section. Aurelion had already begun reinforcing the area, but the repair remained uneven and did not restore the original geometry. The severed Radiant Verdict junction lay farther inside that same damaged route.

White-gold pressure continued circulating behind the break. Aurelion had preserved the deeper channel and was already stabilizing alternate routes through the weapon, but the connection that once joined his reinforcement, the mirror guidance, and Radiant Verdict no longer continued through the junction Trinity had dismantled. Nothing traveled outward toward Noctis from that point. The declaration remained gone.

Aurelion adjusted the blade-scepter slowly enough that the damaged right wrist did not take the full load at once. His left hand moved farther along the shaft while the right shifted into a shallower position, and the inner elbow and shoulder compensated for the altered balance. The movement caused white-gold pressure to brighten beneath the collarbone armor before fading more slowly than it had earlier in the battle. The support route remained functional, though each correction now revealed the accumulated strain passing through it.

His right wing stayed partly folded. The damaged root no longer leaked continuously after the end of Radiant Verdict, but a thin line of sanctity appeared whenever Judicael's weight shifted far enough onto the compromised side. Aurelion kept the wing closer to his back and allowed the left to remain more open, preserving balance without forcing both sides to carry equal pressure. The asymmetry had become part of his current stance.

The cracked halo spoke continued lagging behind the others. With the larger white-gold field gone, the difference became easier to track whenever Aurelion sent another reinforcement cycle into Judicael. The damaged section responded after the intact spokes and required the rest of the halo to compensate around it. The halo nevertheless remained active, just as Aurelion remained capable of continuing the battle.

Malgoryth stood beyond the area where Annihilation Trinity had been active, holding Ghorvath in both hands while the black-red rift pressure remained gathered close around the axe. The disappearance of the annihilation boundary left him free to close the distance again, but he did not move immediately into the space between Noctis and Aurelion. Instead, he adjusted his footing on the broken ground until both combatants remained within a comfortable turn of his stance. His weapon stayed ready without committing toward either one.

The ground around him still carried the marks left by the earlier exchange. Sections weakened by Oblivion Rend had separated along existing fractures rather than being thrown outward by impact, while dim white-gold remnants from destroyed mirror structures lay scattered where Judicael no longer supplied them. Black-red traces from Ghorvath's earlier pressure remained farther outside the region Trinity had occupied. The different forms of damage overlapped without any one technique still controlling the battlefield.

Noctis allowed the Reapers to move slightly farther from his shoulders as the Genesis circulation inside him settled. The constructs returned to a controlled close orbit without testing the remaining mirrors or approaching Judicael. His sword stayed shortened, and his grip around the hilt remained firm enough for immediate use without placing unnecessary tension through the recovering palm. He made no attempt to recover the distance Aurelion had created while withdrawing the blade-scepter.

Aurelion continued stabilizing Judicael rather than preparing another Radiant Verdict. The surviving mirrors responded unevenly when he changed the weapon's angle, with one reaching a usable position while another stopped before completing its correction and a third remaining fixed where damage beneath the attachment prevented clean movement. The Bell ring produced no outward pulse, and the surviving anchor structures remained inside the guard. Divine power stayed within the weapon instead of forming another declaration toward Noctis.

Crimson Omen Sight remained focused on the lower portion of Judicael while Noctis watched those repairs. The deeper channel behind the severed junction continued receiving power, confirming that Aurelion had successfully preserved the god weapon despite losing the route used by Radiant Verdict. The damaged wrist, strained collarbone conduit, injured wing-root, and delayed halo spoke remained visible through the same perception. None of them had recovered simply because the technique clash had ended.

Noctis's own injuries continued improving at a different rate. Genesis Vessel had already repaired most of the straightforward physical damage, while the remaining strain came from tissue that had been reopened or forced repeatedly before it could settle. His Genesis Core remained stable after Trinity's expenditure, and the old soul-vessel scar required no additional attention. Radiant Verdict had failed without altering it.

Malgoryth shifted one foot over the broken stone while continuing to watch the space between Noctis and Aurelion. Ghorvath moved with the change in stance, and the black-red pressure around the axe remained compact rather than spreading into another attack. The end of Trinity had changed his available routes, but neither Noctis nor Aurelion gave him an immediate opening that required a response. He remained outside them while both stabilized what the previous exchange had damaged.

Noctis continued watching Aurelion through Crimson Omen Sight as Genesis Vessel tightened the center of his palm around another repair cycle. The pressure inside his Genesis Core had settled enough that the Reapers no longer showed any delay when they adjusted their orbit, and his shortened sword remained steady beside his leg. Across from him, Aurelion kept Judicael raised while moving more of its weight through the left side and allowing the damaged right wrist to remain at a shallower angle. The weapon still functioned, but the missing lower mirrors, damaged guard, silent Bell route, and severed inner junction prevented it from returning to the configuration it had used for Radiant Verdict.

For several moments the distance between the three remained unchanged. Aurelion continued redistributing divine support through Judicael's surviving structure while Noctis allowed his Genesis circulation to settle after the end of Trinity, and Malgoryth maintained his position with Ghorvath ready without entering the space between them. The previous exchange had stripped away much of the machinery that had concentrated Aurelion's judgment around Noctis, but it had not removed any of the three combatants from the field. Their weapons remained in hand as the damage from the clash continued being stabilized.
