The western palace began to breathe again after a few days.
While Emily attended to the duties in the outer parts of the quarter, including catering to their daily needs like washing, cooking, and cleaning, Kenneth swept the floor.
He was quite surprised at the drastic changes in Catherine after Emilia's servant's visit.
He had tried to find a way to get rid of her nevertheless but failed twice because of Emily's presence and had to postpone it.
But now, he can't let it linger on anymore or his family would pay for it.
The seventh day after moving in, Catherine decided to sweep the inner courtyard to assist both of them and took the broom from Kenneth.
