I stared blankly at Nymra, unsure of what to tell her. This wasn't how I would've done things. None of the decisions she made were in line with anything I would've done.
Bringing Jodi into the palace? That was the last thing I would've done no matter what anyone told me because keeping her safe and away from Kaedyr's clutches was the priority.
Yet, Nymra had brought her into the palace without consulting me first. She said it was the only way to ensure Jodi was safe. She thought it was better to keep Jodi close because that would make protecting her easier. Nymra made a good point when she said keeping Jodi outside the palace won't stop Kaedyr if he intended to hurt her and I agree with that. But also, isn't there a saying that goes 'out of sight is out of mind?'
