Pack Alpha: leader and head of the family
Beta
The Beta is the second in command (to the Alpha)and enforces the law when the current alpha is not present. If both of the alpha die then the beta(s) take the alpha position and lead the pack, unless the alpha has said otherwise. This position cannot be challenged without the alpha approval.
Gamma Chief
With the Alpha's approval, a Gamma wolf may instead be known as a Gamma Chief. The Gamma Chiefs are the wolves that have the highest chance of becoming the new Beta after the current one passes away. Many wolves aspire to become Gamma Chiefs, but only three wolves(at maximum) within a pack can hold this position. Gamma Chiefs are similar to sergeants, commanding and training the other Gamma wolves.
Gamma
Gamma wolves are below the Betas but higher then Deltas. They carry such a high ranking because they are the supreme protectors of the pack. They are similar to royal guards in human society.
Zeta
The zeta is the military commander of the wolf pack. He sends out the iota wolves (soldiers) to war
Epsilons
Epsilon wolves are guardian, scout... responsible for pack security
Delta messager
versatile members, aiding in pack as information gathers and often serving as messengers, scout
Delt Assassin
Imagine a wolf, dressed in an all-black cloak with ominous red accents, stalking through the shadows with a dramatic flair. This wolf's fur is dyed jet black, and it has a single piercing scar over its eye, giving it that edgy, brooding look. Its name? Shadowfang.

Special guards for the alpha and beta chambers, take orders from the alpha directly....
Thetas (Elders)
The thetas of the pack are seven years and older. They are filled with wisdom and renowned strength. They are the ones that the alphas normally go to for advice. If they are wise, the thetas are the only ones to whom the alphas may submit themselves to. They are respected as much as the alphas by the entire pack.
Etas
The eta wolves of the pack are a higher class foot soldier than that of the iota. They get sent out when against the strongest packs.
Stronger than the iota....more like the elite of the elite foot soldiers
Iotas
Iota wolves are the basic foot soldier of the pack. They live relatively normal lives, but spend most of their time doing military training.
Mostly use as foot soldiers in pack wars
Kappas
Kappa wolves are the "normal citizens" of the pack. They live normal lives, having an average amount of respect from alpha and the higher ranks of the pack. They are the most common type of wolf.
Lambida/shamans/ healers
The lambida wolf, while not even being as strong as many wolves ranked below him, is by far the most intelligent wolf in the pack. If the alpha needs help figuring something out, he will often consult the lambida.....and a lambinda can be labeled as the shamans of the pack
Omicron wolves
Omicron wolves are guards. They guard the inside of the wolf pack's headquarters.
Half-Bloods
On rare occasions, a human half blood may be born. While still human, they display superior strength compared to a tiger's. Half-bloods are extremely rare, only occurring once every 10,000 years or often longer. Most have never seen a half-blood, and only a select few are born as one.
Pi wolves
Pi wolves are also guards, but they guard the outer territory of the wolf pack's headquarters
Tau wolves
Tau wolves, while being decent wolves, rarely participates, as they are seen as lazy.
Chi
These wolves are cubs/ teenager ...They do not participate in hunting or fighting until they are old enough.
Pups
Pups are the youngest wolves in the pack, and become trainees or earn a different rank when old enough or when the Alpha decides. Pups are usually given birth to by the Alpha/Suprema female wolf or adopted by the Beta female if they are able to produce milk.
Omegas
The omegas are the lowest of low in the pack, lower than the subordinates. Don't be surprised if they don't receive much respect, if any at all. They are only placed in this position if they've done anything to disrespect the alpha. Someti
