A few days later, Peng Ying Tao got another chance to drag her granddaughter on a shopping spree. When she received her grandmother's invitation, Ning Wei quickly called her mother and her friend, Ling Shuang, to accompany them.
Ning Wei felt that shopping for dresses was a dreadful experience. Instead of suffering alone, it was better to take Ling Shuang along to suffer with her.
Moreover, Ning Wei did not know much about clothes and hoped that Ling Shuang would be able to help her choose.
The moment they were seated, the staff quickly served them with refreshments.
While Peng Ying Tao and Qing Ke were busy looking at some dresses, Ning Wei took Ling Shuang to sit down with a glass of drinks in their hands.
"Wei Wei, this drink is quite good," Ling Shuang said as she raised the glass in her hand. "Next time you come out to accompany your grandmother shopping, you can always call me. I can sit around and enjoy the food."
