Qing Ke reheated the food and fried an egg for Fu Ming Shi.
As they were seated around the table, Ning Wei kept glancing at her mother and Fu Ming Shi a few times.
She always knew that the two were close, especially as they both were from the same city. But recently, Ning Wei had started to notice that the air around them felt strange.
Or was that her imagination?
"You…" Fu Ming Shi spoke, noticing Ning Wei glancing at him every few seconds. "Wei Wei, you have something to say to me?"
Ning Wei chuckled. She leaned closer to Fu Ming Shi and said, "Brother Fu, why are you around my neighbourhood? It can't be that you're looking for my mother, right?"
The corner of Fu Ming Shi's lips twitched as he saw Ning Wei's teasing eyes. He immediately understood what Ning Wei was trying to say. After all, this was not the first time Ning Wei had teased him.
"Don't speak nonsense." Fu Ming Shi rolled his eyes. "I ran into your mother at the mart."
