The man in white suit soon reached the edge of the stage area, stopping a few feet from Levi, catching Maya's attention first. Her eyes widened "Levi," she said.
"This is Marcus's son, you weren't around when he came over this afternoon."
The voice was a low baritone, effortlessly cutting through the ambient noise of the room. "Hi, I am Damon."
Levi gave him a slow, almost lazy smile. "Levi. Glad you joined the party."
Damon Savinus, Medical Director, looked exactly like the kind of man who ran one of the most disruptive independent hospitals in the field.
"You know, I hate these events." He glanced at the room, a flicker of distaste crossing his face. "Too many fakes."
"Yeah," Levi replied.
"I don't usually stay for the entertainment portion."
Levi takes a proper look at him. He notes the man's height, the effectiveness of the suppressants, and the way he carries himself.
