Chapter 5 - 5, I will carry your will

As his father's body dissolved into nothingness, a single jade token remained, suspended in the air.

Shen Xuan looked it for a moment before pressing the jade token gently to his forehead.

This carries the inheritance of the entire Shen Clan.

He stored both the bloodstained spear and the jade token directly within his consciousness, bypassing even a storage ring.

A fleeting glint passed through their eyes; gone almost as soon as it appeared.

"Young Master Shen, your realm is still unstable. Why don't you follow this old man? Can we help you take care of it?"

"And not only that, but I can also help you leave this desolate world, which the enemies of Young Master Shen have destroyed?" Old man reassuring Shen Xuan.

Shen Xuan slowly got up from his place and looked at them coldly, then took a deep breath and said calmly,

"Lead!"

Shen Xuan also had to leave this world, and restoring his strength was his first priority.

"Sure... Young Master!" Xiao Yang's grandfather and Xiao Yang got up from their kneeling position and came in front of Shen Xuan to lead the way.

As he took his first step, his body swayed, strength failing him for an instant.

Both grandpa and grandson noticed this.

"Xiao Yang," the old man said quietly, "support Young Master Shen."

"Uhh... okay, Grandpa." After listening to his grandfather, Xiao Yang walked to Shen Xuan and then raised his hand, hugging his shoulder from the side to support him from falling.

"Young Master Shen, lean on me," Xiao Yang said with a harmless smile on his face.

Shen Xuan, noticing this, didn't say anything but nodded silently, then placed his hand over Xiao Yang's shoulder.

After being supported by Xiao Yang, the three of them walked toward the exit where the grandfather and Xiao Yang had come.

While on the way,

"What realm had Young Master reached before the sealing?" While helping Shen Xuan walk, Xiao Yang asked some questions that weren't too important.

"The peak… of the Chaos Dao Realm." Shen Xuan replied calmly, but his voice was a little cold.

"Well, it looks like Young Master was really talented before being sealed. And how old were you that time?" The old man's hand trembled for a moment just by listening to the realm of the Shen Xuan. After hearing this, he is the son of that person, and reaching that realm isn't hard for him.

"Before being sealed, my age was around 25-26 years old." Shen Xuan said.

Both froze, their throats going dry.

Both Xiao Yang and his grandfather looked at Shen Xuan in horror and couldn't help but swallow their saliva.

"Young Master, isn't that a bit too exaggerated?" they both asked in unison.

"Huh... then, according to you, what realm should a 25-year-old genius have reached?" Shen Xuan was surprised by their reaction and asked Xiao Yang back.

"In our era, a below thirty-year-old reaching the Chaos Essence Realm is considered average. Chaos Vessel marks genius. Anything beyond that… is legend."

Xiao Yang's words shattered Shen Xuan's worldview.

Only… Chaos Divine Transformation?

Shen Xuan looked at Xiao Yang and found that he was around a hundred years old and had only reached the level of the Chaos Domain Realm.

He sensed a Chaos Lord aura, ancient, heavy, and aging over five thausand year.

For this, he couldn't help but look forward to finding out what happened to the entire Chaos universe and why those geniuses of the Chaos universe reached the Chaos Domain Realm only after the age of twenty-five.

After all, in his era, reaching the Chaos Origin Realm could be considered genius, and it could only be said that you had just entered the basic standard of the genius category. Only after breaking through to the realm of the Chaos Lord could you officially enter the realm of geniuses.

"Forget it." Shen Xuan shook off his disappointment; he couldn't save himself now, not to mention revenge for his whole family.

"Anyway, how many days will it take us to move out of here?" As they walked toward the portal, Shen Xuan asked to the old man.

"One day," the old man replied after a pause.

Okay...

Nodding at the old man, he followed toward the exit of the small world of the Shen Mansion.

One day later.

The surrounding aura was not thicker and mournful like the core place of the Shen Mansion.

Blood mist veiled the land, torn earth stretching endlessly beneath a crimson sky

In front of them, the three figures were standing: Xiao Yang, his grandfather, and finally Shen Xuan, who now did not need the shoulder of Xiao Yang to stand.

They finally arrived at the portal of the Shen World, and the Chaos universe connected.

The portal did not merely connect worlds, it bridged eras long buried by time

The grandfather of Xiao Yang stopped in front of the portal, and his body trembled slightly as he felt the residual pressure that still existed and haunted the land of the Shen.

While Xiao Yang looked at the portal with some regret, there were unknown things on his mind that he was unable to tell. Xiao Yang and his grandfather turned their gaze toward Shen Xuan, who still stood silent and looked toward the horizon.

The young man, Shen Xuan, didn't move his eyes. His eyes scanned the entire endless expanse behind him.

The ruins sprawled across the blood soaked plains. The colossal pillar, which once held the heavens, now fell on the ground, like the broken bones of the fallen gods.

The undead souls, who had lost their sanity, were roaming here and around. The countless people buried here without their graves, and those who were buried, are standing black as silhouettes against the bloody sky of the Shen World.

And they are mute witnesses of divine lineage, that eternal thing, but now lying in the dust in the long river of time.

Then the gaze of Shen Xuan seemed to pierce the bloody mist and looked directly toward the center of the Shen Clan core area, where he existed and also where he was buried, and his father had protected him for a billion years.

Now, there was only hollowness remaining; even the final trace of Shen Wuji, the patriarch of the Shen Clan, has now been erased into the void.

Shen Xuan stood unmoving, time itself seeming unwilling to pass.

His pale hair fluttered faintly in the dead wind. The divine glow that once clung to him now dulled under exhaustion and restraint.

However, within the same silence, there was a weight that could crush the universe, and it was the memories, memories of his family.

"Father... Mother... Sister..."

Three words slowly came out from his lips, the emotion contained in his words heavier than the weight of the heavens themselves.

Looking for the last time toward the shattered sanctuary, those deep-buried memories of his family members... Those gentle, motherly loves of his mother and her scolding him...

His sister, fighting with him for the favors of their parents and elders...

His father, the strongest backer of him, had blocked every obstacle for himself.

But now what..?

Nothing remained. Everything was destroyed by those people, and he didn't even know who they were.

"Stripped of his cultivation, he was now the last scion of the Shen bloodline."

Finally, Shen Xuan looked down at his feet and took a long, deep breath. He gave a cold before returning to his past personality.

"The day I return, the Shen Clan will rise again."

He clenched his fist and said with determination that was impossible to waver in him.

"Young Master, we should get out of here first. The portal won't last too long." The grandfather of Xiao Yang looked at Shen Xuan and said softly, while looking at the fluctuating portal behind him.

Shen Xuan didn't immediately answer the old man but closed his eyes and then turned back toward the portal.

Before stepping out of the portal, he paused his feet and said softly,

"Father… your will will not die."

Then he stepped inside the portal.

And both grandpa and grandson followed Shen Xuan.

The light of the portal disappeared, and nothing remained.

There was absolute silence.

But then again, something happened.

The entire ancestral land groaned with a low, mournful sound that made the sky of the Shen world paint with red color.

Mountains crumbled into dust, rivers evaporated into nothingness.

The rivers vaporized themselves.

The blood mist spiraled around the desolate plane like a huge wave of the ocean.

And then, the entire ruins of the desolate world fell into silence again.

But in the deep chaos void.

Yet deep within the chaos void, something stirred, untouched by ruin.

"It is time," the figure whispered, opening his eyes.

At this time, a man buried in the vast cosmic debris slowly opened his eyes and spoke.
