After a while, sophia bursts through the doors.
"Alright im here, is it done?"
Turning around and giving sophia a clipclipboard, Dr.Tatanya then pulls both of me towards her then pushes me by sophia.
"Yep, all done~ the last steps of the checklist are yours to do~ now go away I still need to look deeper into them ehehe~"
Looking down at the clipboard then towards both of me at her sides then back to tatanya, "uhuh.... I'll let you get on that. Ninya... stay strong and Goodluck."
With ninya shedding a tear before bowing, "thank you ma'am, I will do my best!"
With that, sophia turns around and starts walking out the room, "alright you two, with me. We still need to see if the gears fire control systems are functional and to see if theres nothing wrong with you two."
Looking to myselfs, then quickly catching up with sophia. Leaving Dr.Tatanya and ninya behind the room.

After a while of walking end exiting the building, sophia asks a question while continuing to lead us, "everything feel alright? Nothing feeling wrong?"
Startling me for a bit before answering back, "no ma'am, everything feels fine... albeit just kinda weird."
"Yeah, like we have gained a new arm or something."
sophia chuckles as she continues to lead the way, "oh that's normal, just about every one of the new recruits say the same things. Even i, when I first wore my first gear felt the same so don't worry. It'll feel like its second nature to you in due time."
After awhile of more walking, sophia leads us to a large warehouse like shack, as she then tells us to wait outside before heading in then quickly walking back out pulling a cart with two small crates inside.
"These are your gear's ammunition, you'll need it for the shooting range. Follow."
With sophia then leading towards the side of the warehouse towards an walkway like area where other girls could be seen firing shots down range towards what seems like pillars and boulders and after a bit more walking, sophia stops infront of an empty arch and table.
"Alright, let's get you to loaded up so we can start." Before she then rips open the tops of the crates.
"Now, you two better pay attention since this is what you will be doing alot for yourselfs now." As she then first picks up a rocket and two differently sized shells before giving them to both of me.
"These are the standard training rounds for your gears, a dummy rocket and a blank Ap shell for Anastasia's main gun and secondary gun. These are what you rookies will be using during your stay here until you two pass the test to use live ammunition and start patrol trainings. But nevermind that right now, for now watch me load each of your gears up first then I Want you two to aim down range and fire a shot. Got it?"
Seeing both of me nod dutifully, sophia then starts showing us how to properly load and unload and our gears each.
And a little while later, "alright, you've both got the jist of it. Now I want you to to step onto the elevated stand over here and then I Want you two to aim and shoot at that Grey pillar, don't mind if you miss or not. I just need to know first if your gears are functioning properly. johan you go first."
Nodding again, "yes, ma'am." Before scrambling onto the slightly raised platform behind the concrete wall that could serve as an aiming platform or just a palce to rest some weaponry down.
Willing the rails on my shoulder arm to angle up as I point my arm towards the mentioned pillar, not knowing the ranges or what the ballistics on these dummy rocket currently placed on the rail launchers. I then will the rockets to fire in which they one by one shoot out from the rails and flying towards the pillar but coming in short.
"Alright good, the FCS works though your aim needs work since that was quite a bit of an undershot but thats fine since not everyone that just got their gear hits their shots the first time. Anastasia, your turn." With sophia then checking and marking things down the clipboard.
"Understood."
With johan stepping down the platform, and Anastasia then stepping up, I then look at myself and my gear before gripping the pistol like secondary with both hands and raising and leveling it infront of me, while I will the main gun thats connected to the back attachment to also aim at the mentioned pillar, after steadying my aim with both weapons I pull the trigger on the pistol like gun and willing the main gun to fire.
As the shells fly out the cannons, the shot from the pistol hits the pillars front but high and off to the side quite a bit while the shell from the main gun grazes the upper side of the pillar as it then overshoot into the burm behind it.
"Hmm~ Not bad for your first try, good to know you have some experience with a pistol of some kind, but it it looked like you were aiming a bit too high. So im guessing you weren't expecting your shells to have that kind of ballistics on it,were you?"
Turning around and nodding, "mhn, I expected it to drop a bit more."
Smiling, as sophia marks and writes things down on the clipboard before pointing to the crates, "good answer, but for now I want you two to reload yourselfs and to keep shooting at the target to stress test the gear for a bit and might as well train and improve your aims while you two are at it. You two remember what I did, right?"
Seeing both nod, "alright good, there's not much in those crates so make them count."
