"Is there some obstruction in the air? Feels like an invisible barrier… what kind of ability is this?"
Rain narrowed his eyes as his blade cut through, yet felt resistance. A flicker of doubt tugged at his mind.
"Could it be… an Air-type Logia?"
"Psychokinetic Cannon!"
The CP0 commander roared, hurling a massive cannonball of compressed force straight at him.
"Air cannon?" Rain's curiosity deepened.
"Normally, I'd take my time to analyze you," he said, his voice dropping into a cold indifference. "But today… I'm in a hurry."
His body blurred.
"Wha—?! What speed!"
From stillness to full velocity in an instant—Rain vanished from sight. Within such close range, his acceleration rivaled even Admiral Kizaru's light-speed movements.
The CP0 commander's pupils shrank. His mind barrier flared, a telekinetic shield wrapping around him.
"God's Aegis!"
The wall shattered in an instant, sliced open by Rain's blade. His sword kept going, aiming for the man's throat.
"Get away!"
"Mind Control!"
Cornered, the CP0 leader exploded with everything he had, straining his body and willpower to hold Rain still.
"Form Magic—Shrink!"
Rain ignored the psychic bindings entirely. His sword flashed again.
BOOM!
A Conqueror's-Haki-infused slash tore through everything. The CP0 commander couldn't even react before his neck snapped under the force.
Click.
The body fell.
Pity. The man never realized Rain wasn't using any Devil Fruit power at all—only pure, refined magic.
"That should be the last of CP0 here… but who knows what other trump cards they still have hidden?"
Muttering to himself, Rain strode forward. His blade swung once more, shattering the massive gates of Pangaea Castle.
And without hesitation, he stepped inside.
---
"CP0… completely wiped out? That man…"
In Pangaea Castle, the Five Elders stared at the fallen agents, their expressions dark and heavy.
For a moment, none dared speak. Watching Rain stride deeper into the Holy Land, even they felt a chill.
"Quick! Dispatch God's Shield!" one finally barked. "If we move now, there's still time to intercept him!"
"Contact Marine Headquarters immediately. Tell Sengoku and Kuzan to mobilize at once!" another ordered sharply.
Yet despite their urgency, none of the Five Elders stepped forward themselves. It wasn't because they lacked strength, far from it.
Each of them possessed monstrous power that could devastate nations.
But without the explicit command of Imu-sama, they could not act directly. That was the iron rule that bound them, the unspoken chain even they dared not break.
One of them gritted his teeth, voice low. "If we defy that order and reveal our hands too soon… the consequences would be far greater than this intruder alone."
"And just when Saint Figarland Garling isn't here… in his absence such a thing happens. Is it fate, or perhaps a predetermined outcome?"
Nusjuro muttered, gripping his sword tightly, veins bulging across his forehead.
"With God's Shield and Marine reinforcements, we may be able to stall him. Perhaps even eliminate him outright," another said, though unease still lingered in his tone.
Even so, their gazes followed Rain's advancing figure with growing tension.
"If even this fails…" one whispered, the weight of his words dragging the room into silence.
"…then we will have to act personally."
Their eyes narrowed.
"An enemy of the Gods…"
The words slipped from their lips as a grave admission.
Yes...this was no ordinary intruder. This man carried the potential to shatter the World Government itself.
Even CP0, their elites honed for decades, had been erased in mere minutes.
---
Rain advanced into the core of Pangaea Castle, each step a promise of death.
He waved his blade in a slow arc — "Ace" — then sent slash after slash outward, an executioner's calm.
Every wicked soul who crossed his path would be beheaded on the spot.
"Oh?" Rain paused, an eyebrow lifting. Two silhouettes had blocked his path.
"Two more Admirals?" The surprise in him was small, but real. Unlike the masked CP0 operators, these two did not hide their faces.
One moved like an old master swordsman; the other had the plain, dangerous bearing of a seasoned officer.
Their presences were heavy—no doubt, their auras were Admiral-level.
"For now, that'll do."
A powerful voice cut through the clangor.
Kong — once a Fleet Admiral, now the World Government's Commander-in-Chief — strode forward at the summons.
BOOM!
A violent gale rose and barred Kong's advance, tearing the air into ragged sheets and forcing his stride to falter.
"Dragon?!"
Recognition flashed across Kong's face. For an instant his features hardened.
"Was this planned by your Revolutionary Army?" he barked, eyes narrowing. With Mariejois in chaos, suspicion came cheaply, who wouldn't assume a powerful organization was behind it?
"If anyone dares say this was the work of a single man, I'll make them pay." Kong's fury was a low promise, edged with the pride of a soldier who'd once commanded fleets.
Rain watched the exchange, and for the first time he allowed himself a small nod. When Dragon stepped between him and Kong, Rain's lips quirked.
"Thank you," he said simply to the man in shadow.
Even with his full force, Rain knew another Kong would complicate things. He couldn't linger. He needed to finish this fast.
