Subaru was drinking as a boy slung his arm around Subaru's shoulder.
Boy: [Hey, Subaru! How did you bag a hottie like Emilia Ellior? I mean a model? Damn.]
Subaru smiled, acting all giddy and goofy.
Subaru: [I um.. hic... don't know.]
Kasumi: [He's a giddy and goofy drunk, huh?]
Kinoshita: [I mean, what do you expect from him?]
Kinoshita turned to Subaru.
Kinoshita: [But seriously. How did you manage it?]
Then it seemed like the air around Subaru had changed.
Subaru: [It's just my natural charm.]
Subaru smirked. For some reason, it seemed like being drunk boosted his confidence and his features.
Kinoshita: [What the heck?]
Katsuki: [The heck? What's with the change?]
Kinoshita: [This must be how he did it!]
Kinoshita clasped his hands together.
Kinoshita: [You gotta teach me your pull game, Subaru.]
Katsuki: [Get in line, man.]
The three were very clearly drunk.
Emilia: [Well, at least Subaru is having fun.]
Beatrice: [Betty's contractor is becoming far too intoxicated, I suppose.]
Subaru turned to Emilia as she looked at his features.
Emilia: [Eh?!!]
They looked sharper than usual. Like all of his features had been enhanced.
Subaru: [Emilia. Are you having fun?]
Emilia blushed at this realisation.
Emilia: [Oh, um... yes... I... I've been talking with the other girls... we've been having fun.]
Subaru smiled with a perfect smile that could make any woman's legs go weak. Emilia turned around and crouched.
Emilia: (What in Od Laguna. He looks reaaally handsome right now! I can't deal with this.)
The girls blushed.
Kinoshita: [Ain't no way! How did he manage that?!! That's cheating! I swear this man is cheating!]
Katsuki: [Dayum.]
One of the girls helped Emilia back up.
Girl: [Hey, are you okay?]
Emilia was blushing a lot.
Emilia: [I um... I don't know.]
She felt her heart beating so fast that it felt like it was going to burst out of her chest.
Girl: [Damn girl, you got it bad.]
Emilia: [Kasumi-chan! Don't make fun of me!]
Kasumi smiled before pushing Emilia towards Subaru, who caught her, holding her in a princess carry.
Subaru: [Are you alright?]
Emilia: [Eh?!!]
Emilia began blushing madly as she covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.
Kasumi: [I'd fold too, not gonna lie.]
Another girl scoffed.
Girl: [What girl wouldn't? It's not a very high bar, Kasumi.]
Kasumi flipped her the bird.
Kasumi: [Fuck you bitch.]
Kinoshita: (As usual, she has no chill.)
Beatrice: (Betty doesn't even know how to react to this situation, I suppose.)
Emilia: [Su... Subaru... can you... put me down now... it's... embarrassing.]
Subaru: [Alright.]
Subaru helped her stand, as she was still red from embarrassment.
Kasumi: [I don't remember him being this smooth.]
Katsuki: [Well, he is drunk, so...]
Kasumi: [He's transitioned to a sexy drunk now?!! God dayum, you're a lucky girl.]
Emilia: [I um... uh...]
Emilia felt like she was going to die of embarrassment as steam rose from her ears. Kasumi poked the side of Emilia's head.
Kasumi: [Guys, I think she's broken.]
Kasumi then noticed.
Kasumi: [Hold up. Are those the elf accessory ears she always wears?]
Kasumi touched Emilia's ear before retracting her hand in shock.
Kasumi: [They're... they're real!!!]
Katsuki: [Huh?!!]
Kinoshita: [No way. This damn lucky bastard really landed a girl who's got elf ears?!!]
Emilia snapped out of it.
Emilia: [I um.]
Kasumi: [You must have won the genetic lottery to have elf ears.]
Emilia: [Eh?!!]
Toki returned to the party.
Toki: [Hey, guys. Tarou's gonna be fine... but he lost one of his nuts.]
Then she saw Subaru.
Toki: [Holy fuck.]
Toki's legs wobbled.
Toki: (God Damn! He's so fucking hot right now!!!)
Toki's face flushed red as she put her hand on the wall to hold herself up.
Toki: (I need to...)
Kasumi: [Hey, Toki.]
Toki: [I... um... gotta go to the bathroom!]
Toki rushed off.
Kasumi: [O...kay?]
Katsuki looked to Subaru, and then he got an idea.
Katsuki: (Perfect!)
Katsuki took out his phone and lined up the picture as he took the picture. In the frame was Subaru in his Santa outfit with his same drunken and handsome features.
Katsuki: (Damn, this is peak.)
Katsuki took another photo, only for Subaru to move a little.
Katsuki: (That's not going to look goo... what the hell?)
In spite of all logic, the picture looked amazing. Katsuki sweated.
Katsuki: (He's... photogenic?)
Then Christmas music started to play as Subaru walked over to Emilia, still very drunk and very handsome.
Emilia: [Subaru?]
Subaru: [Let's go.]
Subaru took Emilia's hand, leading her to the dance floor as she blushed.
Emilia: [Eh? Subaru?]
They started dancing together.
Beatrice: [Betty thinks she understands now.]
Katsuki: [What do you understand?]
Beatrice: [Betty's Subaru doesn't have much confidence in himself, even though he's actually very capable. When he's drunk, all his anxiety and insecurities fall away.]
Kasumi: [Like Zenitsu?]
Beatrice: [Yes, like... who is Zenitsu?]
Kinoshita: [Hey, you're right. He's just like Zenitsu, but instead of being asleep, he's drunk.]
Katsuki: [Nah, this shit is a rip-off of Giryong from "The Secret Of The Partner Next To You".]
Kinoshita: [What the hell is that?]
Katsuki: [It's a Korean Manhwa. Pretty good too.]
Kasumi: [Who cares? Natsuki's looking pretty fine right now. That's what matters.]
Beatrice smiled smugly.
Beatrice: [It's only natural that Betty's Subaru would receive so much attention, I suppose.]
Kasumi: [Why the fuck... are you so cute?!!]
Beatrice continued looking smug as Subaru danced with Emilia.
Subaru: [I'm having so much fun with you right now.]
Emilia: [I...]
Emilia smiled.
Emilia: [I'm having a lot of fun too.]
Subaru held her close as she rested her head on his chest with a smile.
Emilia: (I feel so safe in his arms.)
They linked hands as they danced, and they eventually ended up underneath a mistletoe.
Subaru: [Emilia.]
Emilia: [Subaru?]
Subaru: [We're under a mistletoe.]
Emilia: [What does that mean?]
Subaru: [It means this.]
Subaru leaned in, holding her waist as he kissed her deeply. Emilia blushed as she melted into it.
Emilia: [Subaru...]
Subaru: [I love you so much, Emilia.]
Emilia rested her head on his chest again as they slow danced.
Kinoshita: [Where do I go to get a relationship like that?]
AN: Another world.
Katsuki: [Yeah, good luck with that, buddy.]
They danced for a bit longer before the song ended, and Subaru sat down, falling asleep.
Katsuki: [Well, looks like he's out of it now.]
Kasumi: [So Natsuki has a three-stage drinking evolution! Giddy and goofy to sexy to sleepy!]
Katsuki: [He's not a Pokémon, you know.]
Kasumi: [Booo.]
Beatrice: [This feels like a completely stupid conversation, I suppose.]

Emilia sat down next to Subaru, who woke up.

The former Emilia camp sat together in the Astrea manor as Rem put a sculpture of Subaru in his classic victory pose on top of a tree in the living room. The place was decorated with various Christmas-like ornaments.

Rem smiled, remembering everything she had gone through with Subaru.
Rem: (I hope you're making my hero happy, Emilia-sama.)
AN: Get in the cuck chair. Now.
Rem then had a sour look on her face.
Rem: (If only I could have been there... if only I hadn't gotten distracted by Al.)
Rem reflected on that day in sadness and regret. Ram noticed this and stepped forward, standing by her sister.
Ram: [Rem.]
Rem: [Yes Nee-sama?]
Ram: [I'm worried about you.]
Rem tried to fix her expression quickly, but was caught off guard by Ram's next words that were meant to cheer her up.
Ram: [With how perverted Barasu is, I fear he might jump at you the instant he sees you again.]
Ram: (Now she'll retort and ask me to be kinder to Barasu, and she'll feel better.)
But that didn't happen.
Ram: (Huh?)
Rem was daydreaming about Subaru jumping to her for a second, almost drooling at the thought.

Ram was flabbergasted before she made a serious expression.
Ram: (Barasu... When I see you again, I'm going to kill you.)
Spica looked up to Rem.
Spica: [Mama Rem miss Papa Subaru?]
Rem: [Yes. I miss Subaru-Kun a lot.]
Spica: [Spica also misses Papa Subaru a lot.]
Rem smiled as she hugged Spica.
Rem: [We'll see him one day, Spica. I promise we will see him.]
Spica leaned into the hug as they thought of Subaru.
Petra: [Who's going to be Subaru Claus?]
Subaru had done his best to introduce the concept of Christmas to the world of Od Laguna during his time there, but it hadn't truly been widely accepted by the citizens of Lugunica. However, once he was returned to his old world by Al, the citizens of Lugunica wished to celebrate it in his honour. A way to commemorate the hero of Pristella who contributed to the defeats of multiple calamities that had ravaged the world. The man who secured an alliance with the Sacred Vallachian Empire. Hence, instead of "Santa" as Subaru had intended to be the main focus of the event, his name had been substituted to form the name "Subaru Claus".
Otto: (This is a good holiday and the children would probably love it, but...)
Otto was standing there, feeling apprehensive based on his account of what Subaru had told them about the holiday.
Otto: (If Natsuki-san found out about us using his name, he'd probably say it was downright blasphemous and then say that it's not his problem since his family has been secular for generations.)
Otto smiled a little.
Otto: (We miss you, Natsuki-san.)
Reinhard: [Subaru said that the person would go across Lugunica delivering presents to children in one night, right? I believe I can handle that.]
Felt: [Well, I guess that works, but there's no way you'll look anything like big bro.]
Reinhard paused for a second.
Reinhard: [I have been blessed...]
Felt: [Don't you fucking dare say it...]
Reinhard: [... with the『Divine Protection of Disguises』.]
Felt: [You motherfucker.]
Reinhard waved his hand as his form replicated Subaru's in a red festive suit. Rem, for a second, widened her eyes, but then they returned to normal.
Felt: [Well, we gotta make some presents. But how do we know who wants what?]
Reinhard: [Just now... I've been blessed with the『Divine Protection of Present Creation』.]
Everyone: [...]
Reinhard: [This way, I should be able to make use of it in tandem with my『Divine Protection of Gifting』I should be able to make and give an adequate present to each child.]
Everyone in the room was speechless at the sheer ridiculousness of the situation.
Reinhard: [Well, it's time, so I'll be off.]
Reinhard opened the window.
Felt: [Don't forget that you're supposed to put them under the trees.]
Petra: [Don't forget to eat the cookies and drink the milk!]
Reinhard jumped out of the window, and he raced off. Rem sat down as she thought about Subaru, and Petra looked to her regretfully.
Petra: [I'm not even allowed to comfort her...]
Petra gritted her teeth. Frederica patted Petra's back.
Frederica: [Petra. It's alright. We'll all get to see Subaru-sama at least once more. Once we do things will get better.]
Petra: [I made so many vows and now... I can't even do this much for Rem-neesama.]
Frederica: [For now, just try to celebrate today properly. After all, this is something Subaru-sama left behind for us.]
Petra nodded.
