Chapter 206 - The Battle of Harrenhal & Break

Riverlands, Harrenhal

Under Jaime Lannister's command, many weapons within the castle were repositioned to attack the enormous figures on the walls. For a moment, the Abyssal Hydra and the Ancient Treant, who were bearing the brunt of the assault, were riddled with arrows.

Mu was instantly enraged. She transformed into her Succubus Queen form and directly summoned a terrifying "Meteor Shower" to descend from the void.

"Boom... Bang..."

The continuous explosions and collapsing buildings momentarily stalled the attack. The Rakshasa King and the Blood-Eyed Cyclops seized the opportunity to rush into the passageway, clearing away the debris that had been blocking them.

Following this, Maeve and her companions charged towards the Weeping Tower. After smashing through the already damaged windows, they found the Allied soldiers who were loading crossbows.

Even though it was the first time they had seen creatures like Angels, the soldiers fearlessly charged forward. As the warning bells rang, a large number of soldiers poured in from the corridors.

The room in the tower was large and spacious, allowing Maeve and her companions to fly freely. Thus, the four Angels and the Allied soldiers engaged in a fierce battle.

Maeve swung the Sword of Judgment in her hand, cleaving a soldier in two. Blood splattered everywhere, causing some of the militiamen armed with simple spears to collapse in terror.

At this moment, a faint red glow shone from the four Angels; this was due to Maeve's application of "Righteous Power." As an Archangel who could use all Light Magic, she was now practically half a Hero.

"Boom..."

Mu was also unwilling to be outdone and unleashed the devastating destructive magic "Chain Fireball." Huge fireballs erupted in the passage, followed by a "Fire Wall," which sealed the soldiers inside the corridor.

"Boom..."

Suddenly, the terrifying Fire Wall split open in the middle, and seven knights wearing rainbow cloaks appeared behind it. They radiated seven different colors of light.

These seven were the same ones who had summoned the Avatar of the Seven Gods and ambushed Marco's camp last time. But at this moment, they looked much older, exuding a sense of exhaustion.

"May the Father's..., may..., Long live the Seven Gods! Kill..."

Even so, they still charged forward resolutely, ready to fight Maeve and the others to the death. Seven-colored light shone on them, as brilliant as fireworks.

"Kill..."

Under the protection of the Abyssal Hydra and the Ancient Treant, the Blood-Eyed Cyclops Gao Tai and the Rakshasa King Xun began to advance towards the top of the right-side arrow tower. As the number of Golems began to increase, many of the five main towers began to have Golems enter them.

This reduced the pressure on the siege troops on the city walls. With the help of the Flame Lord and the Abyssal Hydra, siege ladders were pulled up one after another, densely packed against the city walls.

These siege ladders were made by the Children of the Forest, who specifically cultivated the wood for their creation. There were also protective panels on both sides to protect the soldiers. Just as the soldiers were desperately climbing, Marco and his companions rode dragons to take over from the Griffins and provide fire suppression.

And on a window on the top floor of the east-side arrow tower, several Ravens flew in, chirping. After seeing that no one was there, the four Ravens transformed into four female Druids in a burst of emerald energy.

"Dog Head" Hama looked at the three female Druids around him and said to them:

"Sisters, the time for our test has come. We must win for our great Emperor and bring death to our enemies!"

Then, from their hands, they conjured "Wood Balls". These "Wood Balls" seemed to contain something terrifying, with strands of dark green energy flowing over them.

Meanwhile, the soldiers of the Iron Throne coalition on the lower level were preparing for the next wave of attack. Soldiers carrying crossbows were turning the winches, and the soldiers operating the ballistae were greasing the ejection cords with lard.

Just then, four "Wood Balls" suddenly rolled to their feet. A soldier who had just finished cranking the winch noticed them. Out of curiosity, he picked up a "Wood Ball".

"Boom..."

As the soldier curiously examined the object, the "Wood Ball" immediately "exploded". Following this, a cloud of yellow-green smoke sprayed into the soldier's face.

"Cough, cough..."

As the "Wood Balls" continued to explode, waves of "smoke" began to spread through the crowd. Everyone was choked, coughing violently. Soon, they couldn't bear it and threw down their weapons and tasks, fleeing towards the giant spiral staircase.

But when they got there, they found that the exit was blocked by giant vines. Fortunately, the smoke had gradually dissipated. After the soldiers saw that it was safe, they returned to their posts under the knights' arrangement.

"Scar" Lemon was an old veteran of the Lannister family. He had fought in the War of the Usurper when he was young, and later in the War of the Five Kings. He was a battle-hardened warrior, and also a mid-level officer in the archer unit.

Just as "Scar" Lemon was about to pick up his crossbow and prepare to attack, he felt a strange movement beside him. He raised his head and looked to his side.

He saw a scene that terrified him. Around him, a large group of monsters had gathered: Octopus Monsters, Lion-headed Monsters, Wolf-headed Monsters, or simply humanoid monsters with rotting flesh and pus.

"You damned monsters, don't come near me, ah..."

Terrified, "Scar" Lemon howled, aiming his crossbow at the closest monster, but the monster continued to approach him.

Extreme fear prevented "Scar" Lemon from thinking about why there were monsters here. In a panic, "Scar" Lemon attacked the leading monster, and the crossbow bolt accurately hit the enemy in front of him.

At this moment, "Scar" Lemon's colleagues looked at him in terror, because "Scar" Lemon had just shot and killed a knight among them. He was a sworn knight from Crakehall of the Crannogmen.

"Tommen? What's wrong with you? You commoners, quickly eliminate this traitor, he is... uh... cough cough..."

"You monster! Ah... I'll kill you, ah..."

Another knightly figure, upon witnessing this scene, immediately ordered the surrounding soldiers to kill "Scar" Lemon. However, he was quickly killed by another soldier.

Even as the soldiers looked at each other in confusion, several more soldiers went berserk, slaughtering their comrades. Only then did the rest realize something was wrong. Under the orders of an old knight, the clear-headed soldiers bound the crazed ones. Some who were truly uncontrollable had to be killed.

This situation was repeatedly occurring on several towers of the outer wall, completely halting the defensive shooting from the arrow towers. The soldiers suffered heavy casualties, and madness was spreading.

This situation caused many soldiers to stop what they were doing, holding their weapons and facing each other. No one could guarantee they wouldn't be stabbed in the back by their own people while attacking the enemy.

On the five tall towers of Harrenhal, this situation was also continuing. A small number of soldiers were attacking their comrades like madmen, causing many tasks to cease. The pressure on Marco's siege soldiers suddenly decreased.

"Roar..."

After clearing the threat of the crossbows, three dragons began to circle above Harrenhal. The first to suffer were the three arrow towers near the main gate. Under the coverage of three blasts of Dragonflame, none of the soldiers inside survived.

As Marco prepared to launch his attack, he had already instructed the druids to retreat from the tower. The panicked soldiers were incapable of mounting an effective defense, turning into wailing undead under the Dragonflame.

Then, Aegon urged his dragon to land directly in front of the main gate. Marco, meanwhile, commanded the Crystal Dragon to watch over the front, while Brynden attacked the western watchtowers.

"Whoosh..."

A terrifying cold wind swept through the tunnel of the main gate, instantly chilling the soldiers stationed at the arrow slits, many of whom were left with numb feet.

Just as everyone was praying for the cold to pass quickly, a burst of intense heat suddenly erupted. The massive iron gate crumbled inch by inch under the Dragonflame, and even the iron-clad wooden gate behind it turned completely black.

Subsequently, Marco, riding on the Crystal Dragon, summoned Elemental Creatures and had them begin clearing out the soldiers near the city gates. The Golem troops also began to converge here.

Outside the city gates, the materialized Elemental Creatures began to advance gradually toward the gate passage. Leading the way were ten towering Fire Elementals, which, upon entering the passage, began spewing flames towards the arrow slits.

Those soldiers hiding behind the arrow slits were left with faces covered in soot. The Dragonflame attack combined with the current fire attack left the soldiers with no ability to resist.

Many of the hot oil and arrows couldn't even hit their targets, and the attacks from the Fire Elementals ignited some of the hot oil, setting the top of the gate passage on fire.

After breaking through the gate passage, the Elemental Creatures began attacking the gate. Under their assault, the gate was in a precarious state, seemingly about to be breached.

"Ugh..."

"Kill them... For His Majesty Tommen..."

With the sound of horns, the great doors of the Tower of Terror suddenly opened, and a large group of knights in various heraldic armor charged out. Behind them were a large group of monks with maces, their foreheads marked with seven-pointed stars.

A colorful glow emerged from their bodies, making them appear very holy. These monks, led by the knights, launched an attack on the Golems and the Elemental Creatures at the gate.

Although the Golems and Elemental Creatures were strong, they couldn't withstand the sheer number of human soldiers. They were quickly wiped out. Marco, riding on a Crystal Dragon, watched them with a sneer.

Then, with a wave of his hand, Marco prepared to command the Griffin Swans, ready to unleash a "rain of iron" upon them, to let these guys see whether faith was more powerful or if Marco's throwing darts were more terrifying.

"Ugh..."

At this moment, a series of shrill wails echoed from the Burning King Tower. The terrifying sound made the Griffins and the dragons restless, as if they had encountered something dreadful.

Meanwhile, in a certain underground chamber beneath the Tower of Terror, a crystal magic circle emitting a pale blue glow was slowly operating. In the center was a huge crystal pillar, surrounded by diamond-shaped crystals.

Three scholars wearing masks were writing and sketching something in their notebooks. At this moment, one of them, wearing a gold and silver alloy mask, suddenly spoke:

"The operation of storage item No. 28 is very stable, but according to our previous research, this thing seems to be able to release something similar to a ghost. After collecting power for so many years, if we release it all at once, will we be able to retrieve it?"

At this moment, another person wearing a copper and aluminum alloy mask suddenly spoke:

"The stronger it is, the better. It's best if it can eliminate that Valyrian Empire emperor in one fell swoop. He is definitely more terrifying than Aegon I. Did you see those monsters? Except for No. 13..."

However, before he could finish his words, the terrifying roar sounded once more, causing the entire underground chamber to tremble.

Except the three of them felt nothing. At this moment, the one wearing a black steel mask, who hadn't spoken, suddenly said:

"Let's see just how far this Dragon King can go! Magic, this sword without a hilt, is not something humans can control. It only brings disaster and suffering. It must be buried with the gods."

Then, this scholar wearing the black steel mask pulled out a crystal from his pocket. Immediately, a bird-like creature the size of a peacock, with yellow and red feathers, appeared around them.

After a flash of red light, the three of them disappeared from where they stood, leaving only a black crystal. Inside the crystal, there seemed to be a trace of blood-red light. Then, this red light grew larger and larger, as if it would burst the crystal.

"Boom... Crack... Crack"

With the explosion of the black crystal, a terrifying pressure appeared around the crystal magic circle, the chilling cold air freezing the surrounding walls.

Next, a mass of things made of black mist appeared in the center of the magic circle, this mass of black mist gradually turned into a human form, a pair of blood-red energy light spots appeared in the eyes' position.

These blood-red eyes scanned the surroundings, as if judging the environment. And at this moment, the Crystal Dragon's roar echoed throughout the entire castle.

"Roar...All of the Targaryens should die...Aah..."

After hearing this dragon's roar, the figure formed from black mist trembled violently. Then, it let out a strange howl, its indistinct words filled with boundless killing intent. Following this, the figure charged toward Marco and the others.

Meanwhile, outside Harrenhal, Marco, riding a dragon, had sensed the anomaly early on. He ordered the Griffins to retreat, leaving only Brynden and Aegon.

The three dragons gathered their power and unleashed their dragonflame attacks as soon as the black mist appeared. The three blasts of dragonflame slammed into the black mist, the immense energy driving it into the top of the Burning King Tower, directly shearing off a small section of the tower's peak.

At this moment, an explosion occurred on the outer wall of the middle section of the Burning King Tower. Seven tattered human corpses flew out from within. From their armor and cloak fragments, it could be seen that they were Rainbow Knights of the Church.

Following this, four figures emerged from the smoke and dust. Maeve and Mu, along with two other Angels, arrived before Marco. Then, Marco used "Teleport" to send Aegon and Brynden to the ruins of the Burning King Tower.

After everyone landed on the Burning King Tower, Marco directed the dragons back to the temporary camp. Their size was too large, and except for the initial attack, they had little effect against this unknown entity. The enemy was too small.

After everyone landed, the recovered black mist charged toward Marco. The body formed by the black mist emitted strange sounds everywhere, filling Marco and the others' ears with malicious curses.

Without waiting for Marco to give the order, the Angels charged forward, engaging the monster in a fierce battle. Those three guys from the Citadel didn't even know what attribute counters were.

This monster was basically just there to be slaughtered by them. The Sword of Judgment, burning with holy flames, struck the black mist again and again, causing it to emit a series of shrill howls.
