"We have gathered here today to discuss the future. Our future," one of the elders began, immediately drawing everyone's attention.
"Vampires are learning about our hideouts. They are discovering our identities, and they are too fast and too strong for us to defeat. We need ideas," she continued, her voice carrying through the cave.
A discussion broke out among the witches, their voices overlapping as they debated what could be done.
Bonna and Temri exchanged a concerned look before Kaith, who finally spoke.
"I might have a solution."
Her words immediately quieted the gathering.
The witches turned toward her, waiting to hear what she had to say.
"What do you have in mind?" one of the elders asked.
Kaith stepped forward, reached into her bag, and pulled out the scroll she had been carrying earlier.
Without another word, she handed it to the elder.
