Chapter 294: Battle with Hoopa
Lugia Jr. led the group to the depths of the desert, far from Dahara City. Lugia Jr. slowly descended, and a strong gale whipped up a fierce sandstorm. Ryan and the others jumped off Lugia Jr.'s back. Ryan, holding the Prison Bottle floating in his hand, said, "Alright, let's stop here. This place won't harm anyone or any buildings, so we can fight with peace of mind."
After saying that, Lillie quickly pulled Meray and Baraz away from Ryan, while also calling out Manaphy and Shaymin. Charizard instantly completed its Mega Evolution, unleashing a jet of flame towards Hoopa's Dark Pulse. The brilliant blue flame and dark energy collided in mid-air, creating a massive explosion and a powerful shockwave that whipped up a sandstorm. Seeing this, Hoopa waved its hands, unleashing two sandstorm tornadoes towards Charizard. Simultaneously, the golden rings on its remaining four arms flew out, gradually enlarging and forming blue vortexes within them. Hoopa immediately punched into these golden rings with its four arms. At that moment, four golden rings also appeared around Charizard, and Hoopa's four arms shot out from them, slamming towards Charizard.
Charizard flapped its wings, transforming into a streak of light as it soared into the sky, escaping Hoopa's attack. Its four arms then slammed together with a deafening explosion at the point of impact. Charizard's eyes narrowed, and it opened its mouth, unleashing a jet of flame towards its four arms. A single golden ring appeared out of thin air in front of Charizard's flames. The flames missed Hoopa's arm, but instead entered the space within the golden ring. The ring's exit point formed on Charizard's back, and a single flame struck the unsuspecting dragon.
Ryan clicked his tongue: "Hoopa's technique is difficult to handle. But it's not a big problem now. If we can't hurt Hoopa now, then let Charizard reach a speed that Hoopa can't catch!"
The power of their bond surged wildly. Building upon Mega Evolution, Charizard underwent another bond evolution, and the mighty dragon returned to the battlefield! Charizard coldly stared at Hoopa, its powerful arms enveloped in brilliant blue flames. Charizard's signature Fire Punch formed, and with a sudden flap of its wings, it transformed into a brilliant blue meteor, tearing through the limitations of space as its claws lashed out. Two intersecting fiery wounds appeared on Hoopa's body. Hoopa howled in pain as flames imbued with burning essence clung to its wounds, the intense searing pain nearly causing it to faint.
The wounded Hoopa became even more ferocious, its hands converging to unleash a dense barrage of Shadow Balls that shot towards Charizard. Just as Charizard was about to dodge, a pink energy blade shot out from a golden ring in space, hurtling towards Charizard.
Ryan frowned. This was Palkia's Spacial Rend, and with Hoopa's ring's help, the timing was perfect. Spacial Rend and Shadow Ball completely blocked Charizard's retreat. No matter where it dodged, it was bound to be hit by one of the attacks. Charizard was slightly taken aback as the dense barrage of Shadow Balls and Spacial Rend successfully struck it. A violent explosion occurred, and Charizard was blasted away, crashing heavily onto the desert.
"Hahaha, Hoopa is strong! No one can defeat Hoopa!!!" Hoopa laughed loudly, looking at the Charizard that had lost its ability to battle.
"Hey, where are you looking?"
Ryan's cold voice entered Hoopa's ears. Ryan's voice made Hoopa pause for a moment. It looked at the place where Charizard had crashed. Charizard's figure had disappeared, and a streak of light had appeared behind Hoopa. Charizard's Fire Punch slammed heavily onto Hoopa's head, slamming Hoopa down from the sky and crashing heavily into the desert.
Meanwhile, Diancie had also entered the battle, unleashing a Diamond Storm towards Palkia emerging from the golden rings. Palkia, without hesitation, countered with Spacial Rend, slashing at Diancie's Diamond Storm. The two collided and exploded, the Diamond Storm shattering into countless pink crystal fragments that scattered across the desert, like a pink coat sprinkled over a golden wasteland.
"Hoopa's angry! Come out here! Gotcha!"
Hoopa rose from the desert, its six golden rings instantly expanding, revealing six Legendary Pokémon emerging from them. Ryan frowned: Why is there one more? Isn't the maximum control limit six?
But no one could answer Ryan's question. Following Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Kyurem, and Volcanion appeared before Ryan. Their eyes glowed red, clearly controlled by Hoopa. As soon as they emerged, they unleashed their signature attacks at Ryan.
Without Ryan needing to speak, Xerneas, seeing the overwhelming attacks raining down, immediately activated its Geomancy, creating a strong shield protecting Ryan. The numerous attacks struck Xerneas's barrier, shattering it, but Ryan remained completely unharmed.
