The sound of thunderous stomping filled the air as an army of undead made their way through frozen landscape. Millions of rotting corpses shuffled forward, dozens of monstrous spiders walking in a wide circle formation in the middle of of the massive army.
On top of said spiders were pale-skinned humanoid beings, each with a mane of silver-white hair and dressed in ancient armour. Their shimmering blue eyes were focused on the path forward, speaking in raspy voices to each others with a language that sounded nothing more than ice scraping against ice.
However, these beings encircled their creator and lord, his skin a snow white with ice-blue veins stretching across its body.
Its eyes were an ethereal sky-blue, small horns of ice growing from its skull in the form of a makeshift crown with a spear of solid ice in hand while its mane of white hair fell like a curtain past his shoulders.
Its gaze moved from the army it commanded to the village in front of it, focusing its gaze as it saw a brilliant flame with a freezing aura in the centre of the village.
"Bo (Go)," The Night King commanded, his voice echoing across the landscape like a collapsing glacier as the army paused.
One of the Others he commanded vaulted forward immediately, riding atop a spider that crawled through the army with an unnatural speed.
Along with his other went a thousand of his undead, each shrieking with broken vocal cords as he resumed his walking.
The army followed suit as the Night King closed his eyes, shifting his perspective to the Other leading the first attack party. He narrowed his eyes as he saw his Other leaping from its spider mount and into a house, coming face to face with a dark-haired pup that was the origin of the flaming aura he felt earlier.
The young pup in question held a flaming Valyrian Steel sword in hand, his dark grey eyes filled with determination as he gripped his blade with both hands.
The Other responded by twirling his ice spear, frost hissing from its tip as the very temperature of the room plummeted. The flames burning around them fizzed out, but the Other narrowed his eyes when Jon did not move.
Instead of clinging to him, the cold was recoiled by the blazing flame of his blade and the Night King grew more interested as his Other was the first to lunge forward.
Its body was a blur of frost as it rushed across the room in the blink of an eye, Jon's eyes widening as it turned and thrust its spear forward.
Yet, even as the pup's mind stumbled, his body did not as he easily turned his blade, parrying the strike aimed at his head. At the same time, his leg snapped out as he swung down, kicking back the knee of the Other.
The Other's eyes widened right as blazing Valyrian Steel slashed through its neck, shattering its body and its connection to the Night King to smithereens.
Opening his eyes, he watched as the flaming aura paused before the pup ran to the shores of the village, the army in front of him parting as his horde of Others surged forward.
However, he was more intrigued as he made his way to the house where his Other had fought, narrowing his eyes at the burning divinity he tasted in the air.
"Ni gein, nuz zein kaal. Gein fah enook diiv do hin kopraan. Los daar krii hi hind wah lehhav, R'hllor? (Not one, but two champions. One for each aspect of your body. Is that how you wish to play R'hllor?)" the Night King asked, turning and walking back out of the house as it came crumbling down.
The snow under his feet hardened as he walked towards the shore, his army of millions pausing in their attempt to chase after the puppet.
He could see that the pup saw him, admiring the hint of defiance in his gaze despite the fear he saw with it.
"Rii VAAZ ZOL," With a raised hand, the Soul Tear shout rippled across the entire village and a bit further beyond, the pup's eyes widening when the energy of the shout washed over them.
Immediately, all but the pup fell, who scrambled to throw the corpses on his boat out onto the water. Then, moments later, all who fell rose, this time with shimmering blue eyes that pleased the Night King as he lowered his hand.
"Enjoy R'hllor's protection, little pup," The Night King spoke in the Common Tongue, watching as the pup glared at him even as he recalled the undead back to his side. "Enjoy the time it has given you."

The sound of heavy wings beating filled the air as three dragons flew overhead, Daenerys smiling as her children danced in the air. Right beside her were her closest confidants, each keeping a close eye on their surroundings as they moved through the rough terrain west of the Golden Fields.
It has been a treacherous month long journey of them simply crossing the large river, especially with the added addition of Qohor's guards trying to find the ones responsible for burning the forest down.
Ser Barristan and Daario have done what they could to make their crossing subtle, but there was only so much subtlety one can achieve when you are travelling with over half a million people and three dragons.
"Do you believe they shall be monitoring us more closely, Ser Barristan?" Daenerys asked, turning to the knight at her side as he frowned.
"The Qohorik believe we destroyed their sacred grove even if we say otherwise, especially with your dragons. They will not forget easily."
"You cannot control the minds of others, khaleesi. You can only try to steer away the chaos as much as you can," Grey Worm replied and she frowned before nodding.
"Perhaps, Grey Worm, but the world believes that I am the one who's guided the chaos. That is the true danger."
Daenerys let out a slow breath. "Perhaps. But this time the storm has flown ahead of me, and the world believes I guided it. That is the true danger."
"That and they're not leaving us alone," Daario added, gesturing to the small plumes of smoke curling up in the distance behind the mountains.
Daenerys narrowed her eyes, turning to Belwas as the burly man hummed at the smoke before speaking, "Scouts for the Qohorik most likely. They're keeping their distance since they don't want to be caught in open battle."
"Still, this shows that there are those lying in wait. Therefore, we had to make sure that they do not alert the larger force waiting for us."
"We can still turn south to the Rhoyne," Missandei suggested, Daenerys grimacing at her words. "It would add weeks to our journey, but there would be no soldiers pursuing us that far south."
"We also risk having more eyes focused on us thanks to the sellsword caravans moving to Braavos. If we are to move, we need to do it through the least welcoming terrain and not the softest."
"Which would be the path we're following now," Daenerys finished Barristan's words, who smiled and nodded in agreement.
"That is correct, your Grace. This terrain is not meant for the travel of an army, but it also has very little area to spy on us."
"Indeed and with those three, we have no reason to fear," Belwas said while jerking a thumb upwards at Drogon and his sisters rolling through the air.
Turning her gaze to her army, she frowned at the sight of the innocent men, women and children who were not used to walking for this long. They had followed her without a word, but as she saw some of them struggling to move, she turned to Daario.
"Daario, how long until we reach Pentos?"
"A week if the weather is kind, two if it decides to be an asshole, my queen."
"Asshole. Ha! Belwas likes that word," Belwas nodded with a grin, Barristan closing his eyes with a sigh as Daario smirked.
"What if we push hard?"
"We'd be able to reach it before Qohor can send their army after us. Of course, that is only with the help of your dragons," Daario clarified and she nodded before looking to the sky.
"Drogon!"
"Yes, Mother?!" Drogon asked, gliding steadily to the ground before landing with a heavy thud in front of the gathered commanders.
"I want you and your sisters to fly around us. Make sure to let us know if the path is clear with a roar every ten minutes and make sure that any spies trying to inform Qohor are taken care of."
"Will do," Drogon nodded with a grin before he soared upwards, letting out a roar to call his sisters to him.
Daenerys watched as her children began to part, Visenya flying further in front of the group while Rhaenys and Drogon took off to the plumes of smoke in the distance.
"Everyone!" Daenerys called out in High Valyrian, turning to her army as they all looked at her. "I understand that we are all sore, but I must ask of you all to give one final push. We shall be marching for the next week, but soon we shall reach Pentos and a new life for you all!"
"Yes, khaleesi!" the army saluted as one, Daenerys giving a thankful smile as she nodded to her commanders and began moving forward.

"YOL TOOR SHUL!" The Fire Breath shout blasted forward and washed over the scout trying to run away, the man's screams filling the air.
Drogon narrowed his eyes as he cut off the flames, rolling through the sky and letting Rhaenys pass.
A torrent of emerald gree flames erupted from her throat and washed over the camp, burning it all to a crisp before they took to the air again.
"Where to next?" she asked and Drogon looked around before he noticed the next camp not too far.
Drogon's wings snapped as he turned, his eyes focused on the scouts as they snuffed out their flames and scattered in various directions.
"Take out the ones heading towards the army and Mother."
"Right!" Rhaenys spoke in agreement, turning and flying towards the scouts racing towards where the army was marching.
At the same time, Drogon dived, narrowing his eyes onto the scouts that moved further away from each other.
"FUS RO DAH!" Unrelenting Force tore through the ground, flinging two scouts and their horses into the air. While that happened, Drogon turned his head to the far right, breathing out a blazing storm of black-red flames that burned everything in their path.
Hearing the screams while tasting the scent of their charred flesh on the smoke of the fire, he turned towards the final three members, who all whipped their horses to go as fast as they could.
Soaring back up into the air, Drogon folded his wings in the moment he reached the top and plummeted. As he did, he could see one running to the west, one to the east and the other turned before racing off to the south behind him.
That was a bit of quick thinking on their part, but unfortunately for them, he was not a regular dragon.
"WULD NAH KEST!" Turning to the one that's trying to run south, the world around him blurred as Drogon launched himself forward with the Whirlwind Sprint.
The rider in question turned around just as he opened his maw, biting down upon rider and horse at once.
Another Whirlwind Sprint carried him higher up into the air before he aimed to the one to the east, boosting forward and slicing through the air like a meteor.
Instead of biting down, he flared out his wings and blew out a torrent of black-red flames, burning the man and his mount alive. Curving across the ground before pushing off into the air with another beat of his wings, Drogon turned towards his final target.
The rider in question looked horrified as he tried his best to get away, but as he turned, the last thing he saw was a scaled talon slicing through the air and impaling him.
Ripping the rider and horse off of the ground, Drogon flung them into the air, blowing out a steady stream of scorching flames to make sure they didn't survive.
When he was done, Drogon turned and cut off the flames, swallowing both bodies in one gulp.
"Brother!" Rhaenys' voice shouted, Drogon's head turning to see her flying towards him while a field of emerald flames burned below.
"How did things go on your end?"
"As great as it could have. What about your guys?"
"Burning to a crisp," Rhaenys spoke with a happy growl, the two of them drifting back to the army while Drogon shook his head.
"We'll have to go back. I fear that there might be more hidden around Mother and Visenya can't handle them all."
"Don't let her hear you say that," Rhaenys replied, Drogon rolling his eyes with a growl.

"Well, that is...impressive," Tyrion murmured with wide eyes as he stood in front of Pentos' gates, staring at the vast army approaching the city.
Right beside him was Varys, Illyrio and Old Griff, whose gaze was focused on the young teen riding beside Ser Barristan, a man in Unsullied armour, a rather attractive tan-skinned woman and Belwas that was hired by Illyrio.
Tyrion himself was occupied by the three dragons drifting above the army, the two on the sides being slightly bigger than horses while the one in front of them was almost twice their size.
He had always envisioned how Balerion the Black Dread would look like, but as he watched the black-scaled dragon flying down with Daenerys sitting on his back, he believed that his imagination did not match the actual sight.
While the dragon was nowhere near the size of Drogon, watching the carriage-sized dragon touch down in front of them with a loud growl made him realize why Targaryens were able to stay in power for as long as they had.
'Just one of these makes her the most powerful woman in the world once they're fully grown...and she has three,' Tyrion thought, glancing at Varys who looked a bit too hesitant to execute his plan now.
"Your Grace, may I say it is a pleasure to meet you," Tyrion was the first to speak, bowing with a smile as Daenerys glanced at him. Her other two dragons touched down at their sides and Tyrion looked up to see the woman staring at him with a frown.
"You are a Lannister, yes?"
"Ah, it appears that my dashing blonde locks were not as inconspicuous as I had thought," Tyrion replied in a light-hearted tone, smirking as he saw the woman raising an eyebrow.
Considering that she wasn't ordering her dragons to burn and/ or eat him, it appears that she did not harbour immense hatred for all Lannisters like he expected.
"Now then, I wish I could trust you all, but before that, Drogon?" she spoke and Tyrion's eyes widened as the dragon spoke.
"GOL HAH DOV!"
