Jin, Dex & Princess
Dex hesitated for a moment, then reached out, took his phone, and ended the call.
Jin looked at him, a little confused.
"Not tonight… maybe another time.-"Dex handed the phone back and added calmly,
"Han practically kept me up all night.
Honestly, I won't have the energy to do anything."
He paused briefly before continuing,
"It's better if we leave it for another time, when I'm actually in shape to keep up… what do you think?"
"Are you serious?
You're turning down this kind of fun?"-Jinlooked at him now, suspicion clearly growing in his eyes.
"Maybe you're the one who hit your head."
"I'm not turning it down," Dex replied calmly.
"I'm just postponing it."
He tilted his head slightly, his tone steady, confident.
"I want to be 100% in shape…so I can enjoy it the way I like—the way I'm used to."
"That's all I'm saying."
Jin's surprise became even more obvious, but he decided to leave it at that.
After all, it was Dex's choice.
"Come on, let's go to the office.
I need to finish some documents, and then I'll go pick Zoi up from school," Jin said.
"Zoi? Smart's sister?
You're going to pick her up yourself?
Are you kidding me?"
"No, I'm not kidding."
"She's honestly adorable. If you were in my place, you'd be completely charmed by her too."
"Hmm… then I'll come with you."-Dex smiled lightly.
I've got nothing to do here anyway while the guys finish up their work.
Might as well come with you… pass some time."
"Dex, shouldn't you be dealing with Jake right now?"-Jin asked, his tone sharpening slightly.
"Why are you wasting your time here when you could get it done faster?"
"Jin, don't be so annoying."-Dex let out a quiet breath, still calm.
"I told you… I need to find a way.And that takes time."
"Damn… since when did you get this slow?"Jin smirked, clearly provoking him.
"Or is your age finally starting to show?"
Dex looked him straight in the eyes but said nothing, letting him go on.
"You were the one asking for two people—not just one."Jin let out a low, ironic laugh.
"But now that I think about it…you probably turned it down because your stamina isn't what it used to be."
His voice dropped, more pointed now.
"You don't have the stamina anymore. Can't even handle one—let alone two.
Dex smiled and stepped a little closer, leaning in to whisper against his ear.
"So… you wanna test it?See if age has slowed me down or not?"
Jin knew exactly what Dex was doing—provoking him—but he stayed calm.
He lit a cigarette, took a couple of slow drags, then looked him straight in the eyes before speaking.
"Of course… why not?"A smirk spread across his face.
"You'd make a perfect bottom.I promise… you won't even feel your legs afterward."-Jin let out a low laugh.
"In your dreams, asshole," Dex shot back, clearly irritated.
Jin smiled, then took his phone and sent Smart a quick text, letting him know he was going to pick up Zoi.
After that, he and Dex headed off together toward Zoi's school.
Smart and Han were still at the photoshoot set. They had a bit more work left to finish.
Nova stayed close to them the entire time, just as she had planned from the beginning.
Her goal was simple—to get as close to them as possible… especially to Han.
She saw him as a valuable source of information.
Jin and Dex were now standing at the entrance of the school.
His luxury car was parked right across from it.
They both stepped out and lit a cigarette, waiting for Zoi to come out.
"Hey, Jin… do you remember our moments back in school?"-Dex's voice carried a hint of nostalgia.
Hmm… yeah. I do
But why bring that up now?"
"Nothing, really…"-Dex exhaled slowly.
"Just remembered a few fragments from when we were nineteen… twenty."
Jin glanced at him from the corner of his eye.
"And?"
"And I was thinking… how can you still call Smart a kid when you were doing everything possible back then?"-Dex let out a faint breath.
"You were insane… you know that, right?"
"So fucking crazy."
"You're absolutely right."-Jin's voice turned firmer.
"Exactly because of what I did at that age,
I don't want Smart going through the same things now."-He shook his head slightly, tension creeping into his expression.
"Just the thought of him going through that…it honestly drives me crazy.""I can't stand it."
Dex exhaled a stream of smoke, then kept the conversation going.
"You can't lock him away from the world."
"Yes, I can."-Jin's voice came out sharper now, edged with irritation.
"He'll be the way I want him to be.I won't let him do anything I don't approve of."
"You're completely out of your mind."-Dex's tone turned more serious.
"I think you're the only one who doesn't see it—how deep you've fallen in love."
He held Jin's gaze, making sure every word landed.
"But I'm warning you…be careful with what you do next."
A brief pause.
"Because the consequences won't be carried by just one of you."His eyes didn't waver.
"You'll both suffer it."
"Alright, alright… don't start acting like Leo now.Let me finish this cigarette in peace.Don't put more thoughts in my head."
Jin let the words leave his mouth—but he couldn't push them out of his mind.
Something strange had already started to take root inside him.
"Damn… is this what they call love?"
"Am I being taken over by it…or is this just an obsession?"
"Fuck… what is this?
I've never felt anything like it before."
"Why does my chest acheevery time I think about Smart getting hurt…or going through something painful?"
Lost in his thoughts, Jin suddenly felt Dex's hand gripping his arm tightly.
In that instant, he snapped back to reality, hearing a slightly raised voice nearby.
"Let go! Stop bothering me!"
"Is that Zoi?" Dex's voice cut in.
Jin turned his head and saw her arguing with a boy.
He was wearing the same uniform as her—clearly from the same school.
The boy didn't seem like he had any intention of stopping.
He grabbed Zoi by the arm, trying to pull her closer to him.
The moment Jin saw that scene, his expression darkened.
"Who the hell is that guy bothering my princess?"
He immediately dropped his cigarette to the ground and rushed toward them.
Dex followed right behind him, more to stay close than anything else and to stop him from doing something reckless.
He knew very well that when Jin's eyes went dark like that, he became completely uncontrollable.
Jin grabbed the boy's arm forcefully, pulling him away from Zoi.
His gaze was almost deadly.
The boy's legs started to tremble under his stare.
"Who the hell are you, and what do you think you're doing?"-Jin's voice was cold… almost terrifying.
Zoi looked at Jin and immediately smiled.
She rushed into his arms, wrapping them around him in a hug.
"Jin… you came," she said softly.
Jin held the boy's arm firmly with one hand, while his other arm was gently wrapped around Zoi, stroking her hair softly.
"Princess, go get in the car," Jin whispered, his tone surprisingly gentle.
Zoi lifted her head, about to protest—but she quickly realized it was useless.
"Now. Get in the car. Don't argue, please," Jin said again, this time more firm, more commanding.
Zoi had no choice but to walk toward the car.
The moment she left, Jin finally released the boy's arm.
.Then he stepped closer—very close—until they were face to face.
His voice dropped to a quiet whisper,
calm… but laced with something deeply threatening.
"Listen carefully…"
"If I hear that you went anywhere near Zoi again,
this—"
He gave his arm a slight squeeze."—will be the easiest thing you'll ever experience."
"But if you touch her again…"His eyes darkened even more."I'll let you imagine how that ends for you."
The boy stood frozen, unable to say a single word.
Dex lightly slapped him on the face."Cat got your tongue?"
"Now get out of our sight…before we change our minds and actually bring your ending to life."
The boy didn't wait another second.
He turned and ran away in panic, convinced he had just run into the Italian mafia.
"Damn… kids these days are so disrespectful," Dex muttered under his breath as they walked back to the car.
He opened the door—and saw Zoi smiling at him, gesturing for him to sit in the back seat since she clearly had no intention of giving up her spot.
Dex sighed lightly, then got in the back and closed the door.
He was about to introduce himself when Zoi cut him off immediately.
"I know who you are…"
Dex looked at her, noticing the way she was smiling.
"You know me?"
"Of course."
"Your video with Han went viral.
Han is my bestie, so obviously I know you," she said, giving him a playful wink.
But wow… you're even more handsome up close."
Dex couldn't help it—he smiled.
There was something about her…so playful, so sweet, almost effortlessly charming.
He found it hard not to smile back.
"Hey Dex… I'd actually prefer if those rumors on social media were true."
You and Han together? So cool… that would be amazing."
She tilted her head slightly, smiling."Such a shame he's straight though… but I think you could change that, right?"
Dex looked at her, and for a second, the words got stuck in his throat.
In that moment, he finally understood why Jin had been so captivated by Zoi.
She really was like a princess from a fairytale.
"Hey… and be careful not to hurt him.
Otherwise I'll show up at night like a ghostand strangle you with these little hands of mine."
She raised her hands, pretending to choke him for real.
Dex's emotions became strangely unsettled.
He didn't quite understand what he was feeling in that moment—
even though he couldn't help but smile at the way she was defending Han.
His heart started beating faster,as if there was a strong reason behind it.
A reason he would need time to figure out.
Or maybe… deep down, he already knew it.
He just wasn't ready to admit it yet.
Jin, who was standing next to Zoi, spoke immediately—his voice calm, but heavy.
"Zoi, behave yourself."
"What is all this you're saying?
Focus on your studies, not playing Cupid for other people. Okay?"
Zoi immediately smiled again, as if nothing had happened a second ago.
"Ohhh Jin, why are you always so serious?"-She pouted slightly.
"Honestly, I'd prefer Leo right now… he's way more fun."
She paused, then added with a playful grin,-"And Dex is starting to make it onto my favorites list too."
Jin looked really annoyed by what he had just seen.
He put on his seatbelt, then turned straight to Zoi.
"Who was that guy?
What did he want from you?"
