Chapter 62 - Beat ⁶²☆Games ★

A few days had passed, and their dynamic was almost always the same: it would start with a light tension and end in passionate kisses that never seemed to have an end.

All of this happened because of Smart's behavior—he couldn't always stay cute and sweet; from time to time, other shades of his character would surface.

No matter how hard he tried to hide them, he couldn't—because they were a part of who he was.

Smart was afraid that Jin wouldn't like that other side of him, the slightly more careless one, and he tried to cover it as much as he could.

On the other hand, Jin had begun to like that side of Smart even more, feeling an even stronger attraction and eagerly waiting for the day when Smart would stand in front of him and show him everything.

After that night, when Jin had promised to teach him how to be a pro behind the wheel, Smart had turned into a little bundle of energy. He wanted to practice every day, as if he never got tired.

But there was one rule from Jin.

Every day after work, Smart had to come to his office, and they would stay locked in each other's embrace for ten minutes—no letting go, no interruptions.

"No kisses, no teasing, no talking… just the quiet of them together."

"In that moment, the only sounds allowed were the beats of their hearts and their warm, steady breaths."

"For Jin, it felt like a gentle therapy, a quiet escape after a long day of sketching clothes and dealing with work troubles, just being there with Smart in his arms."

Smart adored the hugs too. He didn't see it as a rule—he felt it as a treat.

He couldn't wait for the day to be over, just to dive into Jin's arms.

Sometimes, he wished those ten minutes could last even longer, just to stay wrapped in Jin's warm embrace.

Jin had found a safe place for this, wanting Smart to practice somewhere secure, without any danger. Even though he was convinced that Smart would just play a role, he still wanted the location to be completely safe.

Jin had rented a private track just for him. Learning in a safe place was more important to Jin than anything else.

It was Friday, and they had spent most of the day together, learning to drive.

It was Friday, and they had spent most of the day together, learning to drive.

Jin had noticed many little gestures that showed Smart wasn't as inexperienced as he claimed, but he had stayed quiet about it.

Jin was trying hard to earn Smart's trust so he could open up completely, but after all these days, he still hadn't made any real progress.

He had tried to provoke him a few times, but Smart always knew how to avoid it.

After finishing the driving lesson, Jin had taken Smart home under the pretext that Zoi had asked him to.

But in reality, it was just an excuse—Smart had another plan for tonight..

Ren and Han had just arrived and were waiting for Smart to come out.

He was already ready, and as soon as Han sent him a message, Smart moved toward the door quietly, without making any noise, so the little monster wouldn't notice.

Zoi had been bothering him for hours, begging Smart to take her with him.

He had told her he would, just to make her stop, but in truth, he wasn't going to take her at all.

Zoi went to her room to get ready, and Smart took advantage of that moment to leave the house quietly.

The moment Han saw Smart, he ran toward him and jumped into his arms, wrapping his legs around Smart's waist.

"Smart! Do you know how much I missed you?"

"What the hell have you been doing these days?"

"It's been almost a week since we last met!"

"You didn't even come to Light the last time!"

"Are you hiding something from me?"

"Did you get yourself a boyfriend too, like Ren, and you're not telling me?"

"Is this how friends treat each other?"

"Or maybe you're pushing me out of your circle and I'm just too stupid to notice?"

His voice cracked, sounding like he was about to cry.

"Oh God… how could I be so stupid not to realize it?"

Smart tightened his arms around Han, holding him firmly against his waist, and leaned in to whisper softly in his ear, clearly teasing him.

"Baby… too many questions," he murmured.

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?"

Han immediately pulled away from his arms and jumped down to the ground.

"You jerk! Are you making fun of me?!"

"But—but… if I ever changed my orientation," he added with a grin,

"you'd definitely be the first one I'd hit on."

He winked at him.

Ren stepped closer, grabbed Han by his clothes, and dragged him toward the car.

"That's enough. Get in the car," he said firmly.

"I swear, if you don't, I'll leave you here."

Ren stepped a little closer to Smart and spoke in a teasing, half-mocking tone.

"I'm just wondering," he said lightly. "Just wondering."

"If Jin saw that scene… what do you think he'd do to you?"

"What kind of punishment would you get?"

Smart moved closer instead, casually placing one hand on Ren's shoulder.

"Hm… At most," he said with a soft laugh,

" he'd take me however he wants, and I know I wouldn't be able to stop him."

He chuckled, giving Ren a small push with his hands.

"That's not such a bad punishment, is it?"

Ren laughed, a teasing glint in his eyes.

"Seriously? You're telling me you *couldn't* stop him? Or…" – he stepped a little closer to Smart –

"You *could*, but you just don't want to, do you?"

Smart shot him a sly glance, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

Ren laughed, shaking his head.

"Why do you look like you're almost waiting to be punished like that?"

Smart didn't answer.

He only smiled sweetly—

as if his expression was saying,

*Fuck… I'm melting just thinking about that moment.*

Ren had just settled into the seat when Smart called out,

"Hey, Ren! Mind if I drive today?" he asked.

Ren looked him in the eyes, taking a slow drag from his cigarette.

"You sure? Planning to get into trouble like last time?"

Smart snatched the cigarette from his hand, took a quick puff, and flicked it to the floor.

"Then let the trouble chase me!

Come on, hop up and sit in the passenger seat."

Han was leaning thoughtfully against the car door when Smart, before settling into the driver's seat, gave him a light punch on the shoulder.

"Surely you're thinking about what I suggested, baby!" he said with a soft laugh.

"Go fuck yourself," Han muttered, half embarrassed.

"And don't hit me so hard! What are you doing?!" Han exclaimed.

"Hard?" Smart scoffed with a grin as he got into the car.

"That was a soft hit."

"Don't make me use the normal one."

"Hey, wait… let me take a good look!

Where are you going looking so damn sexy today?

Couldn't you have been just a little… less perfect?

Now I don't stand a chance with you around…"

Then his eyes flicked to Ren.

"Damn and you look so sexy too! Fuck…

Why, oh God, did you have to drag me along today?!

Please… just take me home…"

Smart was wearing the gift Jin had given him from the collection that hadn't been released yet.

He hadn't planned to wear it before the launch, but thought this was a special occasion and wanted to look both cool and comfortable.

The bangs falling over his forehead made him look incredibly cute and appealing.

Ren, on the other hand, wore a simple, sporty black outfit, but it was his presence and posture that made him look irresistibly masculine.

Smart turned his gaze to Ren, a playful glint in his eyes as he raised one eyebrow.

Then the two of them shifted their attention to Han, looking at him in a teasing way.

"So… decide. Are you going to be Ren's… or mine?" Smart asked, locking eyes with him.

Ren winked at Han, silently signaling him to choose.

For the first time, Han was left speechless.

He froze for a moment; his face shifted from pale to flushed in seconds.

But Smart didn't stop there. He leaned in just a little closer.

"Hm… don't think too hard, baby," he murmured.

"I think you should belong to both of us… Are you okay with that, Ren?"

Ren nodded, lips curved in a sensual smile, making Han lose his composure.

"Then do you think you can handle us?" Smart asked Han again, whose face was now flushed.

"Fuck, Smart! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Han shouted, completely shocked.

Smart let out a cold laugh, his eyes drifting toward Ren.

"Ren… is there something wrong with me?" he asked innocently.

"What's the problem? Do I look like I'm not serious about what I'm saying?"

He tilted his head slightly, watching Ren's reaction.

"No… nothing. You're more than perfect.

You're so fucking unreal," Ren replied without hesitation.

Han thought to himself:

No way… hell no. They're both playing me.

Smart locked eyes with Han, a teasing smile tugging at his lips.

"You know me too well, don't you? You should've expected this."

For a moment, Han completely lost his composure.

Smart and Ren noticed it and couldn't hold back, bursting into laughter.

"Calm down, calm down… we were just testing you!" Smart said, starting the car.

"Damn it," Han thought, clutching his chest. "They actually freaked me out… both of them, teaming up on me!"

"Are you ready for a rush of adrenaline?" Smart asked, not giving anyone a chance to respond, as he disappeared swiftly into the darkness.

The thrill of speed began to pull him in—slowly, endlessly.

Now Smart felt even more confident behind the wheel; he had learned so much from Jin.

He was mastering his doubts, feeling like he was the one in control of the car, not the other way around.

Han held on tightly in the back, screaming at the top of his lungs.

"Are you trying to kill me?!

There are so many people who would suffer if I died!

Stop! Oh God, I'm losing my mind!"

"God, bring back the nice, well-behaved Smart!

I'm dead!" he yelled, then collapsed back into the seat, lying there dramatically as if he'd already died.

Smart could barely hear Han over the rush of adrenaline that nearly suffocated him.

In that moment, Jin's words flashed through his mind—the promise he had made. Instantly, he slammed on the brakes.

He took several quick, shaky breaths, hands trembling, trying to grasp why that promise suddenly felt so heavy.

Those words whispered in his ear, almost stealing his breath away.

He turned his eyes to Ren, silently signaling him to switch seats immediately—he could no longer control himself.

Ren moved immediately, took the wheel, and drove off calmly.

A few moments later, Han suddenly sat upright.

"Oh my God—I'm alive!"

"Finally!"

"Thank you for not letting the girls suffer because of my death!"

Ren heard him and replied without taking his eyes off the road,

"They'd be happy they were saved from you."

"You jerk—watch the road!" Han snapped.

"And remember this! What you did to me today—I won't forget it!"

"You'll pay for this!"

"Hey, Ren—how did you manage to get away from Leo today?" Smart asked, smoothly changing the subject.

"Yeah, tell us," Han added, clearly curious.

Leo had a few things to take care of and wanted to sleep at his own apartment, so it was pretty easy," Ren replied.

"And you didn't follow him? You just let it go like that?" Smart asked, slightly surprised.

He knew very well how attached Ren was to Leo—more than attached, actually. Almost obsessed, and not exactly subtle about it.

Just thinking about how Ren had kissed Leo right in the middle of the pub, in front of those girls, said it all.

"If you hadn't dragged me with you today, I'd be glued to him," Ren said, briefly turning his head toward Smart.

"But did you let me? No, right?"

"Hey! Eyes on the road!" Han shoved Ren's head forward in a hurry.

"I told you, I'm not afraid of dying. I'm afraid a lot of girls will fall into depression without me."

A completely satisfied grin spread across his face.

"Don't make me come back there and kill you for real," Ren snapped.

Han simply leaned back and went completely silent.

"Okay, guys, calm down," Smart stepped in.

"Ren… sorry for ruining the moment. Who knows—if you were with Leo tonight, maybe something would've happened," he added with an ironic laugh.

"Don't make me change my mind and drop you two right here in the middle of nowhere," Ren said, shooting Smart a sharp glance from the corner of his eye.

""And you?" he added casually.

"How did you explain yourself tonight? What excuse did you come up with?"

Smart chuckled softly.

"I used Zoe."

That alone left no room for doubt.

Han leaned in without a second thought, sneaking his head between them.

"Fuck! Smart… did you get yourself a lover too?"

Smart turned his head, meeting his eyes seriously.

"Hm, yeah. But don't get jealous… I can handle both of you."

Han already knew Smart was provoking him, and somehow, he was starting to enjoy the game.

Then it's my turn to play, he thought.

He grabbed Smart's face with both hands and pulled him closer.

"So," he said,

"what do you think about a kiss right now?"

His eyes dropped straight to Smart's lips.

Smart didn't pull away. He could tell Han was just pretending.

"If you've got the guts… go on. Kiss me."

Han leaned in a little closer.

"Think I'm brave enough?"

"Come on… show me what you've got. Make your move," Smart said, voice low and calm—but damn, so teasing.

The temptation was overwhelming!

Anyone in Han's place would definitely feel that rush of desire.

Some might have gone straight for Smart's lips, just to prove -they've got the guts

Han leaned in a few more inches, his expression devilish, like he was plotting something in his mind.

"Wanna see if I've got the fuckin' guts?"

Ren slowed the car down, watching the scene unfold with pure amusement.

He pulled out his phone, propped it against the windshield, and hit record—already imagining how he'd tease them later.

Smart chuckled, playing along.

"If you're gonna do something, just do it! Actions speak louder than words," he said, laughing softly.
