Xiu slammed her hand against the wall, as her eyes locked onto the man she hadn't seen for sixteen years. Fortunately, she knew herself well and had the mansion renovated to handle her occasional anger bursts.
On the other hand, Michael was imperturbable to her actions as he smiled languidly and leaned against the polished stone wall. Looking at her with calm, sun-like eyes, he said, "You haven't learnt to control your anger even now."
"What are you doing here?" Xiu asked, keeping her voice low.
"Ignoring my question. Really haven't changed at all despite being a mother," Michael shook his head and replied calmly. "And I already answered your question."
Xiu continued to stare at him, her eyes digging daggers into his soul but the man didn't even flinch. Even under her stubborn gaze, he remained unfazed and simply smiled.
"And it's the same for you. Infuriating as always," Xiu clicked her tongue. "Why did you accept his invitation?"
