Cali joined Aegon, still having a smile on her face. She swung her arm around his shoulder and watched the battles, occasionally shooting glances at the towering shadow standing beside Aegon.
Aegon simply stared at the distant clouds, all while the annihilation beam of the Titan continued to target Roland, who tried his best to either dodge or defend against it.
He failed every time.
Aegon was sure the Titan could do more than just shoot thick beams capable of annihilating whole armies. Surely, Liliana didn't limit such a creation to only that. He had come to know her enough to guess that.
He took a bit long to answer Cali, which prompted her to knock on his head as she said, "Why are you so serious? What happened here?"
"You're asking now? After joining the battle?" Aegon asked, amused.
"I mean, yes? Why wouldn't I join the battle first? Who cares why you're fighting?" Cali shrugged. "Your enemies mean my enemies, not to mention even my mentor joined this time."
